Wrox press has a really good book on XSLT, called XSLT, Programmer's Reference. Of course the key to XML is the Apache projects parser and transformer libs over at http://www.apache.org
Absolutely correct. The kernel is not very important when dealing with a handheld. The API is essential. And more importantly, the user interface with which the API allows access. The Palm UI is pretty much the best for handhelds so far.
However, I would love to see a linux kernel on a handheld, with a window manager that emulated the Palm UI. That way, in the future, when you are writing a palm program that uses some backend unix.so you dont have to sweat it.
I agree, except for games based directly on Tolkien's Lord of the Rings, mainly to encourage someone to make a better LORs game than the crappy ones out their now.
Also, be sure not to use the words "One" or "Net" in your product. Avoid lowercase vowel prefixes. Definetly don't begin your project with the letter 'J'. Try long phrases or even complete sentences. No one would call something, "Dogs barking wind server outside." Another cool trick is to make up unpernoucable names like:
Scientists in a final attempt to squeeze every dollar out the NEAR project are going to launch the tiny spacecraft into the Sun. The NEAR has already provided facinating data by landing on an astroid, by crashing into a moon crator, by dipping into the rings of Saturn, by plumitting into the deep oceans and being swallowed by a giant squid, and most recently by being used as a target during the latest anti-ballistic missle tests. Go little buddy! go!
Can anybody tell me why Napster is considered differently?
Yes. The right to free speach is not absolute. Your example of telling people where to buy drugs, if viewed by the courts as a conspiricy to profit from the sale of those drugs, would be a crime.
Suprizingly, terrorists no longer will use newspaper classifieds, telegraphs, and carrier pigeons for their nefarious communications. In other suprizing news, it turns out terrorists also use guns, bombs, biological and chemical weapons, instead of swords and clubs.
If you are talking about a Desktop OS, why not use Windows (you can always duel boot).
If you are talking about servers, who cares what language its in. WebServers don't care, and almost all of the major app servers handle locales perfectly fine.
150 people is hardly a study. "No formal
studies" means no studies. Premlimary findings such as these are essentially meaningless, and really we should all...
Actualy, it didn't work. Fortunately, Armstrong noticed that Eagle was heading towards some jagged craters and turned the landing computer off. He then manually landed the craft, with only 4 seconds of fuel remaining on touchdown. Not too shabby.

Ultracold plazma and good old Fermi degeneracy. Both from scientific american.
I figure if he's not willing to go read any online docs, he deserves it.

Looking for alternative net appliance or loadbalancer willing to play masquerade and be submissive to an app server.
Of course we've discussed this twice already here and here.
What's the Ring? This is a hard one.

You are assuming that this card thing is persistant storage. Without power its got notta.

Yeah, this looks alot like Fourth too.
Actualy, I work for Microsoft, and have access to the win2k source code. I ran the tool over the code and code this killer source ring
DS-5 Frame Rates range around 850 Mbps and are practically only working on fiber. Coax can get up to DS-4 with its 274 Mbps. Serious backbone.
I'm sure source forge has this file hosted on a SGI fiber storage server with DS5 backbone access.
DirectX on Linux! No problem! Here's a working implementation of codebase that you can download!

Wouldn't it be cool if a chip plant were the size of a CDROM drive! Instead of buying CPU's you'd download designs and burn them! NaCPUster!

If they just could figure out how to move France away from the Earth, then they might have something.
