Actually the var in question was errorMessage which was supposed to be used in the digitalData (sic!) object to be feed to Adobe Analytics. Alas, none of it was done, so a big chunk of code (all of it?) could be just discarded.
Has anyone actually read the AJH article in question:
"In summary, although the mean BP differences between home BP monitors and auscultation were within 5 mm Hg, over two-thirds of devices tested exhibited a systolic or diastolic BP difference of 5 mm Hg, a degree of BP difference considered to be clinically important."
So, in average most of the tested BP monitors were off by less than 5 m Hg.
Well, I can only confirm it with SuSE 10.0/Firefox 1.5.0.5, using User Agent Switcher 0.6.8 to switch to IE6/Win XP (one of the default UA Strings of UAS).
Well, I think the screenshot was from XP because the thing is based on the Database Manager of former SAPDB (now MaxDB from MySQL).
This tool (SQPDB Database manager) was never ported to anything elese but windows. Now, it seems like the guys form SAPDB camp who where allocated to MySQL MaxDB camp are porting it to *X (GTK?) and adding the MySQL features (MYISAM, InnoDB...).
Does anyone remember the news articles like "SCO may expand Linux case" where RedHat, SuSE & co were mentioned as next targets?
Well how could SCO target those companies when they didn't released distros with RCLOCK yet ?!? Providing they can prove that RCLOCK is really "derived" from SysV.
All this looks like South American soap opera with really bad script.
(dump all icmp packets from 10.0.0.1 with hex output (option -x))
at console nr. 2 run:
ping -s 1 10.0.0.1
(send ICMP echo request to 10.0.0.1 with requested reply size of 1)
Note: replace 10.10.0.1 with the IP address of your favourite host;)
Usualy you are going to get one ICMP echo reply for each ICMP echo request. Each ethernet packet is going to be 46 bytes long (minimum ethernet packet length). Forth byte of each packet is the length of the ICMP message inside the packet (this is usualy 0x1D (29) for 1 byte ISMP echo reply). So, the partition of the packet content after 29th byte is padding data. If this data is not all zeroed out there is a good chance that sending host (or one of the routing/bridging equipment betwen you an the sending host) has unimplemented minimum ethernet block size padding.
Enjoy!
P.B. (Post Blogum) I just checked several MS NT 4.0 and MS WP 2000 machines and they send unpaded ethernet packets too! So, to CERT: nuff said...
OK, I'm working for [no name here] German Telco Company. We have installations with Ericsson equipment and they delivered with Tomcat preinstalled (IN Stuff, Service Numbers, Web Integration).
Take a look at www.ericsson.com and try searching for Tomcat.
Too bad that they were unable to strike a deal like Mandrake did with Sun. SO 6.0 would be a very good addition to KDE 3.0 and stuff.
Odd thing is that SuSe usually has a very good connections to other companies (read: SuSe Linux Database Server = IBM DB2 UDB + distro, SuSe Groupware Server = Lotus Domino + distro, SuSe Certified Oracle 9i...).
Well, it's technically a *week* late. I had my copy of SuSe 8.0 Personal Package in the mailbox (Germany) already at Friday the 12th. (Preordered directly from SuSe.de web site).
Just one comment: Installation went flawlessly on the Gericom Webgine 1630 Notebook. All of the hardware (expect AMR Modem) automatically recognized and initialized:).
First of all KPGM (the site) is *not* explicitly prohibiting the linking. Rather, they reserve the right to request link removal:
Third Party Links are provided as a convenience to our users. KPMG does not control and is not responsible for any of these sites or their content. KPMG is obligated to protect its reputation and trademarks and KPMG reserves the right to request removal of any link to our website.
OK, but if even do so, nobody can stop you from putting up a link like this [http://www.google.com/search?q=kpmg] in the same page where they reqzested the link removal.

Yes! They can! But right now they are more interested in employing the army of marketdrones then developers... but behold... it can be a breaking point for RH and all other IPOs based on Linux (!the word!) without regarding the GPL (Linux) sentiment behind it.

OK, here is the mini howto:
