    Oh, yes, it's not like any program is ever dealt with on the user level, with multiple interactions along the way. Literally everything is a shell script. I had forgotten.

    As to what programs, any number of web apps are an easy example. I forget what slashdot uses as it's message, but when I'm done and hit submit, I'll see an informative message.

    See, it makes your point diluted that we have to determine you're being sarcastic from information we don't actually possess(the story of your own town and providers). It isn't until the end of your rant that we get the first obviously contrary information, and it hurts the pacing of your comment. I'm the last person in the world who should be providing writing advice, but it really hurt your joke this time.

    It's not hard: shooting people in theaters because you are mentally disturbed makes you a horrible monster. Shooting people in theaters for doing something that annoys you makes you a hero.

    I've always wondered why we can't do simple infrared or ultraviolet examinations of things with our smart phones.

    I have a sneaky suspicion it's because not all clothing is opaque in those spectra, but I like neat science toys, and wish my phone was a little more tricorderish.
