  1. Re:Pressurized? on Mars Space Suit Trials in North Dakota · · Score: 3, Informative

Exactly. Mod parent up. A suit can provide pressure via tension all over the body. A full helmet or scuba-like breathing apparatus can provide oxygen. There is no need to pressurize the entire suit, its just a waste of energy and makes things needlessly difficult (less flexible, worrying about tears, etc etc).

Assuming a person did get a small tear on a 'tension suit', the worst that would happen is very bad bruising. The ripped area would be exposed to the environment (low pressure) which would pull the flesh a fair amount outside the suit. Nasty bruising, but not fatal at all and confined to the ripped portion of suit.

Also, I love how Christianity (as you say) has a nice little backdoor in it. "We can't be 100% like Christ, so it is ok to cheat, steal, lie, etc etc sometimes. When you cast blame, it isn't really my fault, because you can't expect me to be 100% like Christ"

You forgot the third option. The people who run our government, the people who hold the power (note, not The People), are run by those that have money and recieve money from others with money (ie. corporations). Our government is run by money, simple.

I agree, it is stealing. But even if the majority of America thought it was ok in this case, it would never change. Corporations are too powerful. They are already in bed with the politicians. And don't give me any crap about "you elected them". Lets be honest, everyone on the ballot is backed by corporations of some type, else they wouldn't be on the ballot.

So much for a government for The People. :/

The thing that truly makes BT great is the way that it shares, not in how the trackers are shared

Bittorrent is old technology. Its swarming, with an updated algorithm. Emule, gnutella, fasttrack, etc already have this. BT was great because it was portable and easily verified (via the sites). Removing the central tracker removes the benefit of BT.
