yo do not even need to roll your own. Just use Ampache, and host it yourself. There are Android and boxee clients. I no longer use satellite radio since I stream everything to my phone for long drives..

There are many ways of producing hydrogen, and probably many more ways that we haven't figure out. A lot of times is a byproduct of some other process.
Do you remember the blow up in the japanese nuclear reactors? those happen because of hydrogen build up, and I think using nuclear power to produce hydrogen is actually very green.
I used to work for Arco(BP) and during the refining process we used to produce way too much hydrogen and we didn't have where to store or no one to sell it to so we would just burn it, and we would do this almost 24/7. And right now most of the hydrogen in the USA is produced by steam reforming of natural gas

What about shortening names. Mexico is technically the United Mexican States, but the name is almost always shortened to Mexico. The US is the only country on either continent with America in it's name. Following the rules of every other country on earth is to drop adjectives or nous like republic or statesand the remaining word is your short name. For almost all these nations the people are given a term that derives from that word.
Yeah but there is a big different. United Mexican States is specifying that they're Mexican. Now United States of America is only says that part of America the continent.
I do not know about geology much or plate tectonics but the land used to be one continuous mass until somebody decided to split it in Panama.
Asia and Europe could be another example, and I think the continents were named and split with imaginary lines way before we knew much about geological and tectonic plates. The Olympic logo represents 5 contains that is why it has 5 rings.

yes you can.
YOu need a dvb pci card. It can also work with HD, but the settup will be more expensive since there is no DVB-PCI card that does 8PSK with turbo FEC. But you can record HD from the canadian provider. You can buy a cheap DVB-S pci card. I seen twinhan DVB-s sell for about $50usd.

I been loving it since.19.
I have a DVB pci card a dishnetwork smartcard, and I can record digitaly with all and AC3 sound. I wish I could do that with directv, but linux does not have DSS support. There are DSS tuners, but they just work with windows. Other than that mythtv is awesome.

You can do this with your legal subscription. A iso programmer is around 10 bucks. If you buy an unlocker then is expensive but you'll only need one if you want to pirate stuff. But like I said you can do this with just your sub card just to watch the channels you subscribe to.
