use kde's "link to application" or whatever gnome calls it.

Plus, unlike windows, all the executables you're going to use are in your path, so you can just put oowriter in a shortcut and it will find it, wherever it is.

My theory: that winNT started at 3.1 because they stole code from 31 other companies to create it, unfortunately they stole the worst bits. The point of the decimal point still escapes me though.

  8. My opinion on When Would You Accept DRM? · · Score: 1

I would only accept DRM if was for renting something, or a sample (say a free song that would play once).

If i was to rent songs, i wouldn't pay much at all, no more than 15p for one song for a week because i can go to my local library and rent a whole cd for a pound for 3 weeks.

Music is valued far too highly because of the current price tag. I currently refuse to buy music because there is no way that 12 songs (8 of which are usually filler) is worth £10 (£2.50 per song).

Plus most of the decent bands have either sold out (best example is metallica) or split up long ago.

The person that did it was the sister of the victim, who promptly shit herself when the police brought round the video tape to see if the victim knew the thief. Unfortunately it was an old video player and wouldn't play the video.
