While this may seem somewhat 'evil' to an American the opposite stance would be outright appaling to most Europeans. Google are an international company and should act as such.

The VHS is Dead

So if they could pronounce the VHS dead now and sell us all DVD Recorders and then in 12 months time start to sell us PVRs then that would be pretty good for them. That's what they're doing. That and getting publicity.
Perhaps, but it's not Levi's fault if I go out with my trouser zipper undone.
People need to be educated about computers requiring security, much in the same way I was educated last week on the functions of a zipper.
if you look on the BBFC page http://tinyurl.com/6t96x you'll see that GTA:SA completed certification on 4th October, a week before going gold. Vampire: Bloodlines a week prior to that and that one hasnt even gone gold yet afaik. Factor in that the process takes a couple of weeks then you could still be looking at anything up to a month before it even goes gold.
Hey if you grab yourself a copy of the preview release of 7.60 http://snapshot.opera.com/windows/w760p1.html for the windows download then it works quite well with GMail if you ID at as Opera rather than the default MSIE 6.0 It seems pretty solid to me.
I wouldnt under-estimate Nintendo's cash reserves. They posted their first ever loss in H2 2003, they are a *hugely* profitable company.
The gameboy has always been their 'base' so to speak. If the PSP proves to be the threat it has the potential to be then I think we could all see a very different side to the company. They've probably spent the last 15 years planning a strategy to combat a serious challenge on their handheld gaming monopoly and piling up the money to back it.
I can't accept these results as fact. Be interesting to see in what way the IWF blacklist works.
I think the likely scenario here is that it is blocking a server if it has been found to contain dubious material. So if it is hosting 99% legal porn and 1% kiddie porn that's going to throw your figures out somewhat. When regular adults wanting to look at regular porn attempt to access a site stored on the server through one of many links sites BT are flagging them as paedophiles.
BBC Radio 1 is shocking in terms of commercial interests. They give heavy control of their rap and hip-hop output to the DJ Tim Westwood who has a contract with Def Jam records and shows very clear bias towards their artists see here for a random recent one worth noting Roc-A-Fella and Def Jam are one and the same.
They've been searching so obsessively for water on Mars? They want to turn the whole planet into a GM paddy field?
Cos otherwise, it's gonna spread. Even then I guess it has the potential to do so.

A lot of CS Players had a similar problem. They all ticked the 'sometimes' box for the "Are you a terrorist?" question on the Green Card.

Breast-feeding right through to adulthood. I'll sign up.
Cos by my calculations they'd have to demolish my house.
Shouldn't that be:
In Soviet Russia, processes kill YOU!
