"On a five-star scale then, where I'd probably probably give the old version only one, but I'd award this one two and a half stars." The article title however implies that the new keyboard is better than the old one
Well thats obviously why it scored higher than the old one isnt it?
"The intention is apparently to use viewers as a kind of distributed processing network, with a free phone number to report border-jumpers." Because it's really interesting to sit there looking at nothing in the hopes that you see someone that may or may not be crossing illegally.
I fail to see why this system is being implemented. Shouldn't it just have motion detection software with people paid to watch the cameras? Wouldn't that be much more effective?

The reason they would show the data is so that they can get the servers back in a timely fashion. With cases like this they can drag out for 6 months to a year to even longer. All that time with the servers under the cops "protection". It's a lot easier to just show them the data and prove you did nothing wrong and get your servers back.
It's probably not an encrypted filesystem and even if it was they'd have to decrypt it so the police could look at the data anyway. They weren't committing any crimes so they have to prove that to get their servers back...
What possible advantages would using Token Ring wield? Even if it can go 100mbps now we do have 1000mbps ethernet. I think Token Ring should be buried.
Thats like saying a porsche is nothing more than a glorified VW bug with a better engine. Well you sure picked a bad analogy to use, since when did a porsche use the same components as a VW bug?
I thought he'd say something along the lines of "I'm going to fucking bury that URL, I have done it before, and I will do it again. I'm going to fucking kill typos"
Because Microsoft are a huge company and have more than one department? They have a depart for OS development and that is working on Vista. This would be their Search department working on this I assume.
Amen to that, Burnout Revenge is awesome but it's pretty lame compared to Burnout 3. In revenge you can just smash through traffic. Takes away the skill that was required in Burnout 3.
The World Community Grid is proud to announce the release of a Linux Agent
What did they capture him for? Was he spying on them again? Who is this agent, is he a secret agent? What was exchanged in return for his safe release?

lol clickykeyboards.com is such a rip off. $100 for a keyboard you can just pickup for $1 at an op shop.
It's pretty hard typing through paper. Why'd they put paper over the keys and not just remove the lettering with a solvent?

Wouldn't you love to setup one of these of your own? Hell it doesn't *have* to be open-source, but it'd be nice. I'd settle for a binary...

Damn that's a cool idea, wish they'd made it open source though :(

Yes, it emulates the BIOS so you can install any x86 OS I would assume.
Your ideas are intriguing to me, and I wish to subscribe to your newsletter.

With the internet there is no reason to own a TV anymore, you can just download episodes of TV shows and watch them whenever the hell you want.
Mine isn't, I use personalized search....History is stored on Google, no Google Desktop for me! http://www.google.com/ig

How is it redundant? This occurs later on in the movie than the quote he originally posted.

Works for XP not 2000.
