Maybe in Appleland this counts as "surviving a fall", but in the Panasonic Toughbook neighborhood this phone is deceased or at least pining for the fjords. Maybe some people would like to carry around a pile of broken glass in their pocket; I'll pass.
I found this: "Orientate is more widely accepted in the U.K. than in the U.S.A., but it should be avoided in any formal or standard writing."
Of course, correcting poor usage is WAY more important than orbiting an asteroid.
Personally I'm not in favor of dinosaur cars, BUT I did have a friend at work ask where he could get a car that had bench seats in the front like his old Crown Vic. I didn't understand why someone would go out of their way to have bad seats. He went and found a nice used one and was happy.
I obviously don't, but luckily my wife the accountant does care. The bogus charge was caught the first time it appeared. After being with this phone company for 40 years, you tend not to look at the bill too closely (I least I don't). Now they will get the evil eye every month.
Compufix put a $12.95 charge on my phone bill even though I never used their "services". I had these charges blocked from my phone by calling the phone company. Blocking numbers creates an additional charge. Suppose I want to call Compufix to complain to them. They will want to know my name and phone number which I don't want bogus companies to have. Arrgh! I used to think evildoers would be caught and prosecuted, but I no longer think that.
In my case, a $12.95 monthly charge just showed up on my phone bill (land line). There are so many odd items on the bill, it's hard to notice another one. The charge was from a place called CompuFix who I had never contacted and never heard of. Phone companies are required by law to allow third party charges even if they are bogus. They make money on things like this so they have no incentive to stop it. They would have continued to charge us $12.95 per month for services never received. We had to call the phone company and block all these kinds of charges. Of course, there is a charge for that...
The sight of that Zeiss projector rising out of the floor of the Hayden Planetarium in NYC made a big impression on me as a small child. Never forget it. Absolutely wayyy cool!
Thanks for pointing out the technically flawed notion of "free" solar power. Imagine how expensive gas would be if anyone actually had to make the oil we just pump out of the ground!
It's OK if banks violate customers in spirit as long as no laws are broken. It is almost impossible to keep making laws to prevent bad bank behavior. They have lots of people sitting in meetings trying to figure out ways to vacuum money from the public.
Anyone think of another case where a certain type of cable is illegal? It's just wire going from one place to another; how could it be illegal??! If I make my own cable, is that illegal?

Worst punctuation I've ever seen.

Yes, but there was only one molecule of liquid nitrogen in 10 trillion gaseous molecules just to make it more effective.
Looked up the C5. As the review said: "Nothing good was ever said about the C5..."

Avoid collisions becomes "create collisions"??

Sorry, there is a fee for blocking numbers.

Sorry, there is no free choice if you are going to Hawaii etc.
If they don't move, I'm stuck with the BookFace.

Citibank deserves to go out of business in the most horrible way possible.
How does releasing email addresses and passwords aid the fight for good and thwart evildoers? They should go back to the Scientology thing.
Trust me; it's longer than that!
How about 12345?
Great. Now I'm going to have to give myself a full body search and like it!
Is there a widget that would generate a hosts file to block dangerous locations by clicking on a map? Sorry, that sounds like an iPhone app.
I'll put it right next to my Lorex watch.
Sorry grammar Nazis, should be "there", not "their".
