The friendly article is pretty light on details, given it's overclockerclub.com.
Engadget stated that the phone supports MP3, WMA, AAC, and AAC+ audio files, and a plug-and-play drag-and-drop no-brainer way of transferring files as you please.
What good is it to publish software vulnerability, especially on closed source products?
If one really wants to help, isn't it better to inform the software maker? If the latter couldn't care less, maybe one shouldn't care more?
However, as the friendly article pointed out, the fine was for a copyright infringement charge, so it looks like you can still publish a vulnerability as long as it is subtle enough.

After reading several mods which are simply a case of bypassing feature restrictions, I wonder if these mods will force manufacturers to forgo the quick-and-dirty upgrade (i.e. same model with features disabled/enabled) and go for the more expensive redesign route?
So the question is, will you be forced to upgrade if you can't mod your current hardware?
The article mentioned it's relatively hard to compare Java to C# as Java is a fairly generic (and sometimes misused) keyword. I have seen companies who asked for JAVA experience, which in reality is expecting you to do Javascript.
And did the analysis take into account that some "jobs" are posted by head hunters who are only interested in resumeh collection?
It'll be interesting to see if there is any "Restriction of Trade" in the old contract.
And how useful is this Windows architect to Google if it is to come out with anything built by this guy? With the current silly-patent lawsuits happening every day, this might just give MS a bullet. What this guy "thought of" might have already been patented by MS, and in most cases, it doesn't matter if it's right or wrong.
It's nice to know what each organistion does, but is there an article about how they actually do it?
For instance, how (pardon my ignorance) ICANN actually controls numbers and names, technically. Is there a mainframe of some sort that stores them? How does ICANN make changes?
Actually the best testing bed is mini-series, where the production cost is pretty low and the show usually ends in 4-6 episodes.
If someone can channel few million dollars donation to make a short film, and make it exclusively internet only, we will be able to better judge the public acceptance of pay-per-view tv.
Today, the security firm Secunia has released 8 more security bugs it has discovered in Mozilla products, including Firefox and Thunderbird. [......] If you have downloaded the Firefox 1.0.1 update, you have nothing to worry about
Firefox 1.0.1 update was out before today, so did Secunia just look at what 1.0.1 update fixes and release its "bug" report, or did they discover something new to 1.0.1?
I think it's a good idea. Mobile's keypad is familar to many users, so navigation should be easy. And with the ability to input text and swap songs (memory cards), there might be a market for it.
Is there a reason why Microsoft cannot just buy the patent over? Or is it waiting until this patent is set firmly in the stone (i.e. cannot be appealed further), then it buys over the patent?
I don't know which is worse, MS lost the case or owns the patent in the end.
In my town of 1.5M people, I haven't managed to find a store that sells AMD-powered laptop. We must be the forgotten ones.
I thought, since NP is onboard, SW is always R18 in a geek's eyes ?d

At 3.5m I think it's still quite intimidating even with artificial pounding sound.
If they adjust weight to few hundred kgs, you'll start feeling it before seeing it.
Looks like Intel's really moving away from marketing its GHz. Its Pentium M has been using 7xx, and this 64bit is on 6xx.
I think after Enron and Arthur Andersen, if you touched the documents you're gone.
describing Paterson's software as a 'rip-off' and 'a slapdash clone' of Kildall's CP/M.

One thing caught my eyes is the merged top menu bars, so the page title and file menu options are on the same line now.
Is there such plug-in for FireFox?

What is unknown is the amount of fuel left when the craft was landed, I'm sure I'm not the only one eager to find out.
Not anymore. Paris Hilton has escaped paparazzi and Pamela Anderson is now too shy

The way I read it
a lower court decision that left the software giant exposed to $565 million in damages
So this lower court decision is now reversed, and MS is no longer exposed to the penalty.

What speed are you guys getting at the moment? Looks like the "maintenance" has come early.
