To be fair you should also report the security issues with your current set-up and the associated fixes. I am fighting the same battle, I have found that if you can provide proof that the M$ product really does suck instead of just saying that it does and touting your current system you get better results. I am still (happily) administering Sun and HP-UX servers, I won the battle that one M$ zealot started on my team. PROVE that Oracle on Sun beats the *&#(@*&$@(*#& out of SQ(eee)L server on NT. I saw a program on PBS about solar panels, they are making photovoltaic (sp?) roofing shingles. (Only available in Japan at the time I saw the program.) They are supposed to last 100 years, the only problem is the $150,000+ that it will cost you to roof your house with them... I have my doubts that they would pay for themselves in their 100 year lifespan. (Lets see, I pay about $80/month for electricity [$150,000/$80]/12=156.25 years to ROI, and that's just the shingles, you wanna add a storage system to your house?? That could make the shingles themselves seem cheap...)

    FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
    May 21, 1999
    Release No. 45

    E-MAIL RUMOR COMPLETELY UNTRUE

WASHINGTON - A completely false rumor concerning the U.S. Postal Service is being circulated on Internet e-mail. As a matter of fact, the Postal Service has learned that a similar hoax occurred recently in Canada concerning Canada Post.

The e-mail message claims that a "Congressman Schnell" has introduced "Bill 602P" to allow the federal government to impose a 5-cent surcharge on each e-mail message delivered over the Internet. The money would be collected by Internet Service Providers and then turned over to the Postal Service.

No such proposed legislation exists. In fact, no "Congressman Schnell" exists.

The U.S. Postal Service has no authority to surcharge e-mail messages sent over the Internet, nor would it support such legislation.
