Amen for 3ware.
Im using the newest 3ware 9500S-12 in our storage server. Very fast read, much faster writes than the older controllers. You can now choose what stripe size you want, and it supports hot swap, RAID50 (mirrored raid 5's), and hot spares. 3ware cards have saved my data from bad hard drives many times. Too bad there isnt a 3ware replacement for admins mistakes:)
Actually that wont work, there is about a 10:1 download to upload ratio(very rough estimate from experance). If you download too fast you wont be able to [ACK] acknowledge all of your tcp packets and the connection will start ratelimiting itself. On a 200Mbps you absolutely have to have at least 10Mbps up with very large receive windows to see the anywhere near the max.
TinyDNS is popular with admins that have lots of domains because there is one configuration file for the domains, the default bind way sucks if you have any number of them, and I have domain entry scripted so it takes seconds to add a new domain. Not having to restart TinyDNS when your domain file is changes is a big plus too. I manage around 150 domains with the average of 3 per customer, hardly squatting.
pizza_party is a Perl based command line tool that provides a non-Web interface to Dominos Pizza's QuikOrder(TM) website pizza ordering service by using HTTP over the Internet.
It is third-party open-soruce software, developed by an individual and unsupported by Dominos Pizza.
Um, no, the sender of the e-mail should not directly connect to your server (unless they run there own server), instead they send to the isp's smtp server. Its most likely that a non-spammer would never send an email to his server.
I've ran into the same issue, luckly I've had enough experiance with the XFree86Config file to fix 99.9% of the problems I've had. What X needs in my opinion is a startx_safemode script to boot in to a lowres, locolor mode.
How about when the worker clocks in/out, they get a reciept with the time and an encrypted time signature on it. If there smart enough to keep there reciepts, they have evidence to contest. It would be even better to have a 3rd party company supply the service to avoid things like internal cheating.
When the lawsuits get bad enough something like the above will occur.

I see you have never been crushed by the rock you were trying to move. I've heard of smashing the stack in C, but getting your ass smashed by a rock is much worse.
Hmmmm, I wonder how many hundreds of years humans have attempted to make flying machines and failed, guess we should have stopped a long time ago.
I do beleive your incorrect about these plans not showing any fruit, unfortunatly you do not understand what we have learned.
The article stated that a good number of request came from behind NAT firewalls. Many devices like the linksys allow you to DMZ a host, which would end up being an attack vector behind your firewall. Also many people turn on port forwarding, done incorrectly, is an attack vector.

DNSSEC, sweet, doesnt do much although....
DNSSEC: theory and practice
You must be the one spilling so much tripe on his mailing lists over the years.
The zone file format of tinydns is non-standard.
:)
Which standard would that be?
Damn Trolls...

I was fiddling with an nvidia driver and.....
This is why closed source binary modules are bad, dont be so quick to blame the file system.

Yes, they could, but I dont think your 'normal' citizen can put one at every intersection in your town recording everything they see.
Most individuals dont have the power to oppress us, unlike our corporate masters.

Clear Channel and Sony don't own everything. . .yet.

Meet me on the 17th of April 2004, that sounds pretty damn natural to me.

To the tune of London Bridge is falling down.

1. Gee, I guess that cuts out most operating systems, and most other software, I'll have to fire up OS/2 again.
2. I also have data on my computer that I need to access from other locations, I'd have to call and have someone turn on my computer!
The best security I know of, is a good set of backups. All other security is an illusion.
