Most people won't understand how water can travel uphill. Besides, as long as the "believers" aren't hurting anyone, why fck with them? Leave 'em alone to believe whatever they want. You're just going to come across looking like you're calling them stupid, simple, ignorant or wrong and that never goes over well with anyone. Agree to disagree and leave it at that.
Theoretically, versions of derived works from the Netscape code base are safe. If M$ decides to change the license, anything going forward, from this point on, would need to be forked from the current (open source) codebase.
These days, I'm more afraid of the law enforcement on campus. I'm not aware of spies braining anyone with a nightstick (and stealing their phone) for recording them, or pepper-spraying someone for sitting on the sidewalk.
This is not available on AndroidMarket/GooglePlay, so how widespread is it?

Most people never finish these games and they know it, so why spend a lot of time on a great ending? For return customers? HAH! when you're the only game in town, you don't need to worry.
The second part is they really only care about the first couple months of the user experience. They put just enough effort into the game so they can still make high volume sales before anyone has a chance to get the shitty parts where they "duct taped" stuff on. By the time anyone figures it out, they've already made a ton of cash on it.
I just quit buying the new titles until they are a year or so old.
I guess corporate dollars and political motivation can't get spelled out much clearer than that. Anyway, there have been plenty of alternatives proposed to SOPA/PIPA. If he can't work with what's been proposed then he should be fired.
What they mean is; instead of swirling around the bowl at an agonizingly slow pace, they are wanting to pack as much cash into their pockets as they can and shoot straight for the drain.
I am now dreading being next to the person on the plane or the bus who is screaming into one of these during a google voice session while making all kinds of crazy gestures to read their email.
If the US takes this on, I would surmise it would fall under NASA's umbrella. With their funding being cut, though (total of $17.7 Billion for 2012*) I don't see a lot of excess to whittle off for exploring options. Most likely the military will absorb the cost, but don't expect to see "kinder and gentler" on their option list.

I bet they cut the cable a month after getting their first DSL bill.
If you need to hit a link for the exploit, I would guess this is a malicious Java applet. What role does the browser and platform play then?
Take out the words China and Bejing in the summary and re-read it.
If they were copyrighted, wouldn't the assembly and machine language folks get the last laugh?
Yep. Imagine the orgy of copyright lawsuits coming out if the judge rules languages are copyrightable.

Besides, as the ice melts, you have more beer.
I'd like to think that the DoJ is actually interested in keeping the future of published works out of proprietary formats but I know better.
America, take note.

I think that would look really sweet.
I don't think that the US government wants to give up that sort of power.
FTFY: I don't think that the US government wants to sell that sort of power cheaply.
