  1. Youmail on Time For Voice-Mail To Throw In the Towel · · Score: 1

I'm surprised no one has really mentioned this in depth.

    I give you http://www.youmail.com/

It allows you to receiver your voicemails like emails, it allows you to block certain numbers from being able to leave you a voicemail, and it allows you to have separate greetings for each number if you wish. For example, for spam and bill collectors I leave an ATT generic error message, leading them to believe that my number is no longer in service.

You can save, download, and archive your voicemails, and you can even share them on Facebook if you'd like. And yes, if you have a smartphone, there's also visual voicemail.

The best part? No stupid menus. You go to access your voicemail on your phone, and it goes into the latest messages within a second. Callers also don't have to wait. It's literally like 'hey this is so and so I'm not around' *beep*

Give it a shot. I swear by it.

Karma in the trash for this (OT), but I can agree with the parent. I was born with a 60% hearing loss in both ears. The last person that called me deaf, only has one good ear now....

  5. So funny on RIAA Mischaracterizes Letter Received From AOL · · Score: 1

It's just so amusing to watch. The RIAA is fighting an uphill battle from hell. Randomly picking people out and suing them? Sheer sign of desperation and a scare tactic that really doesn't work. It's always 'Noble' to fight the losing battle while never losing hope, but it can become very stupid... Take the Titanic. The ship's band played until the liner was so far into the water that they could no longer play. That was noble. However, the RIAA is not really proving anything by what they've done. While I admire their persistence, I also can't help but laugh.

  7. Re:Tailgating on Detecting Tailgaters With Lasers · · Score: 1

I tailgate only when someone pulls out in front of me. If I'm going 65 MPH down a two lane highway, and you pull out in front of me and decide to take your sweet time speeding up, then I'm going to ride your ass until either I can pass you, or until you get up to the speed I was doing. If you don't get up to speed, then you had no business pulling out in front of me in the first place.
