That is a very narrow view you hold there... I would like nothing more than for one of your personal friends to read this as a challenge to prove you wrong.

Life is situational and contextual. An out-of-character picture taken in a situation where safety and understanding is seemingly assured AT THE TIME can be completely misinterpreted and taken out of context at some future date by some uninvolved party.

One's own lack of control regarding that which finds its way to the 'intertubes' IS a cause for concern for all. In the wrong hands, in the wrong situation, these things can cause irreparable harm.

My point is that society needs to get the proverbial stick out of its ass, and be a bit less assuming. I should not need to concern myself with the rather racy picture I allowed to be taken at my uncle's bachelor's party. You know, the guy who was like a father to me and who I hold so dearly and was so happy for him that he found love again that perhaps I cut a bit too loose in his celebrations...

How much of that salary is going offshore (outside of US)? I would wager a significantly larger percentage than if the money were more evenly distributed.

Suppose the money were divided evenly among those beneath him, and he took an even or slightly higher share. I'm not arguing if this is fair or not. I'm just arguing about circulation and systems.

So instead of one guy heading to Rio, they all head to the Jersey Shore... More money for the local economy yes? More money more evenly distributed among all involved yes? Greater localized ROI in local economic system yes? Multiplier effect for said economic system yes? This all sounds really good to me...

I'm not sure I'm much concerned about circulating wealth across global economic systems. We have enough issues right here, and there are even more vultures out there...

Get real and evaluate the disparity between the rock-star coaches and their second tier support folks (you know, the ones who do most of the actual WORK!). Its so ridiculous its laughable.

This country, for some unknown reason, has devolved into a bunch of idol worshipers. Until this country gets its head out of its ass thinking that individual rock stars, or CEOs, or coaches, or , are worth these ridiculously disparate salaries, we're all doomed to this fate.

No one person, regardless of skill level, can ever possibly contribute (or be worth) 1000 times more than any other one (similarly educated) person. Try to tell me I'm wrong.
