As much as you stand to benefit by stealing another person's connection, have you ever considered what would happen if they found out, and started spying on your traffic?
1. 32 and 64-bit versions of the software. Apparently this addresses various performance issues, but also means there is incompatibility with 32-bit versions of other office apps (and perhaps visual studio) on 64-bit OS. 2. MAK and KMS replace the use-anywhere, no activation open license key. Heh. 3. There are fewer editions of office this time around, missing Enterprise. I guess that is a good decision, but there should be fewer. Nevertheless Microsoft believes strongly in market segmentation.
When I need a feature I'm still pecking around for it. The ribbon is supposed to identify features that I need and categorize it in a sane manner, but it just isn't the case. Just try in outlook: importing or exporting mail, adding additional exchange account views, finding actual email headers - you're in for a shock. Instead of a ribbon, why not a contextual search for features? Isn't that more in line with the new windows concept?
If you can't sell the public on science it's because you're doing it wrong. John Kennedy built his political career tightly integrated with project mercury.
As has been raised before, companies may be warming up to the class action lawsuit as a shortcut to avoiding responsibility for their actions. Here's how it goes - Get a lawyer to sue yourself (from a third party) - Lawyer encourages participation by as many parties as possible - settle for pennies on the dollar - everyone who participated is disqualified from raising the issue again
You'd be closer if it was his wife that you were trying to return the keys to, and not the guy himself though. And he was supposed to be in Japan and not with his mistress at the time, so she would have no reasonable expectation that you'd have his car keys.
imo, if your company doesn't have a training budget, don't expect to stay there long anyway. If it does, it shows they have an interest in building up their existing staff, planning for the future, and appreciating the quality of their people.
It may work well for the party and the status quo and the system, but it won't work well for the man. Voted out after 1 term is not good for Obama individually, and since when does a politician put party interest over self?
It sickens me that the one-party system that I live under, and the two-party system that you live under, are actually one and the same, except that most of my countrymen don't live under the illusion of choice, and most of yours do.

Step 1: put democracy on hold Step 2: go to war. Civil war, wars between nations, whatever. 4 billion people get killed Step 3: the environmental problems may peak at first, what with the rampant destruction and all that, but after that, it all gets better!
Yeah but the wireless. Isn't wireless support still abysmal in Linux? Your desktop PC may manage to connect using your livecd. Maybe not so your notebook, netbook, or desktop with only wireless networking. And imagine having to hack your wireless every time you boot up into online banking - the settings are never saved anywhere.
To be fair you can't really tell if it's what the salesman said, or what he thought he wanted to say, or what the customer wanted to hear, or that the customer had a mental filter that blocked out all the bad parts.
It's becoming pretty clear to me though, that if Microsoft had not locked everyone into IE, they would have lost so much OS market share that we'd probably be using some OS/2 variant by now.
Isn't this a major change from "it is illegal to upload copyrighted material"?

Revocation of common carrier status then? Who gets to make that call?
Finally a law where "pics or it didn't happen" applies.

This device loads storage controller drivers on to fresh installs of windows 5.x. It does it through emulating a usb floppy drive.

They lip-synch, dance, and hire sexy babes to gyrate against them.

You _do_ know that this "feature" will be removed from Windows Mobile 7 right? Enjoy it while it lasts : http://www.engadget.com/2010/03/15/confirmed-marketplace-will-be-the-only-way-to-get-apps-on-windo/
Just for my info, but is there such a thing as an ex-mother?
Statistics is important because you can use it to manipulate people!

No profit here, nowhere to spend it anyway.

Who would fund it? The BBC? Hollywood is full of those CoS types.

switch to azerty. it is similar enough to be really irritating. Then, switch back. Hilarity ensues.
