I agree. Troll? That's ridiculous. We (or at least I) don't post responses just for the benefit of one single person, but for all who may share similar interests or problems. I began reading this thread myself to glean useful information, and I found afd8856's post informative and generally on topic.
What you're missing is that Cameron rightly knew he couldn't compete with Ridley Scott in terms of style and atmosphere (see Bladerunner), so he directed in his own way and style, and managed to pull off a difficult sequel without tarnishing the original, by making a different movie. I can understand how you wanted 'more of the same' but that never works.
Just be grateful you didn't get "Alien 2: Electric Boogaloo".
at least *somebody* writing for those episodes had researched the Eugenics Wars...
That would be Manny Coto who took over from season 4. He was the guy responsible for the brilliant but short-lived 'Odyssey 5'. We don't get Enterprise season 4 for a while in the UK, but I have high hopes for it..
Trouble is, you can password protect email clients such as Outlook but Google Desktop Search makes an index copy - and across different users of a machine at that - so you can read somebody else's mail indexed in the search results in a web browser.
In the UK it's the 22nd of November, I assume it's the same for the rest of the World since we can also pre-order in October.

Well that's what the collectors editions are really, with the first set you got a nice pair of bookends to complement the book-like packaging and with the final instalment you have a beautiful trilogy box set.
I think I remember reading that the commentaries were edited together from audio clips and not recorded in the usual way, where all the guys sit down and watch the movie together. I suppose the sound guy had more to say for himself at the time, with Lucas remaining tight-lipped and in control as usual. I suspect most of Carrie Fisher's comments ended up on the cutting room floor.
Well I was only 14 at the time, but I distinctly remember the Empire at Leicester Square (London UK) adding another eight speakers (four each side) to the auditorium. I remember it clearly because the job looked so rough, with wires hanging down etc. Maybe it's just my imagination, maybe it's false regressed memories, but I also remember the sound of bolts whizzing past my ear, and the sound of giant space vehicles passing over my head. Let's not forget these were the early days of THX sound, (minus the branding) maybe somebody with more info can clarify?
I agree, 2000 was the best OS they ever made - and putting aside the holy wars for a second, is probably one of the best operating systems ever. As we all know, XP is really just 2000 with too much memory-grabbing-computer-slowing graphics; if they had just called 2000 "NT 5" it wouldn't have felt half as dated as it does - after all, Windows 3.x was around for about 12 years.
Or maybe he's doing a 'Simon Cowell'?
(Simon Cowell is a record producer, who always plays a triangle or something equally lame on the track and thus is entitled to a cut of the royalties as a performer).
But they were good shows - at the time... it's good to see that audiences have grown more sophisticated, which makes these old shows seem much worse than they really were when first aired.
It must be the limitations of your video card, works fine on my IBM A21m/Win2K.

NEVER stick your password post-it on the monitor! It goes under the keyboard...

Well it was actually called 'WinCE', which was quite telling because thats what you did if you were unfortunate enough to use it...
I thought CE stood for 'Compact Edition'. Still marketing nonsense either way..
Just to *actually answer the question*, something like Cometeye might be what you are looking for. http://www.cometeye.com/
I just ordered the theatrical release box set from Amazon, just for marathons. So I've already got the EE's, so what? Convenience comes at a price...

No, but apparently the region 1 DVD's have a problem with the sound. http://www.imdb.com/news/sb/#1

So far nobody has mentioned the sound - I've been waiting 27 years to *hear* it properly again..
Seriously, as I read the article I was just about to post the exact same thing, couldn't agree more... I guess I won't bother posting now.
Damn...
