All this talk of zero emissions conveniently forgets fertiliser (and perhaps pesticides and herbicides) that will also have to be deployed.
Why on earth would you use herbicides?! You want the grass to grow, and if a few weeds get in and grow better than the grass then you pelletize and burn them instead. It's all plant matter, and who really cares what plant it was. Also, if you RTFA, you would see that they advocate cutting the grass and then leaving it lay there for the minerals to leach back into the soil, so this type of cultivation is very low impact.
The silcone implant itself doesn't become hard, sometimes the body reacts to it and encysts it. I don't know about the massage, but you could give it a try:)
Silicon is the pure element ie. crystalline Si(n)
Silicone is the the name given to a family of different compounds that generally have the long chain backbone -Si-O-Si-O-Si-O-Si- etc. Each Si also has two other bonds, either to hydrogen atoms - most of them - or other functional groups that give that particular silicone its specific properties.
Being part of the same reproductive strategy, the males don't last much longer either (actually, I can't think of any examples in the natural world where one sex significantly outlives the other).
So, obviously we need to find a way to induce motor neurone disease in order to motivate people to produce genius work./sarcasm
Or maybe it's just coincidence that he began to show genius at the same time as the disease developed.
Any company management that doesn't give a flying fuck about a million in sales has a very short life expectancy, no matter what the size of the company.
That is all just so wrong. You are assuming that every transmission is perfectly omnidirectional. That was the whole point of this rifle - make it directional- and there is no reason you couldn't mount two similar ones side by side for RFID tags, one to transmit power in a beam and one to read it. You don't have to saturate a sphere, just deliver the minimum power to a point.
That said, I think they are idiots for making it look like a rifle. At 12.5cm wavelength you should be able to do better with a small parabolic dish and you would be a lot less likely to get shot.
I think what they may be saying is that the user is creating the copy and thus the site is not breaking the law, the user is. That means that there is a distinct possibility that the ??AA will start going after their customers if they can find them.
Besides, everything Google does is BETA. I'm sure they will comply with every standard you care about by the time they release GMail, Google Maps, etc. HOW DARE YOU CRITICISE A FREE BETA PRODUCT.
If by criticise you mean disparage, then that may be being a bit petty with beta software. However the original and technical meaning of criticise is to point out both the good and bad points as well as the errors and/or faults in something, in order to allow it to be corrected/improved. This is a good thing to do. True criticism is not malicious, it is accurate and useful.
There is an interesting depiction of implant technology in the book "The Opoponax Invasion" by John Brosnan.
It's been a while since I read it, but I seem to remember being a lot more impressed with the ideas in it than the story itself. It was still an entertaining enough read though.
Some would say that this process has already begun. I know that I personally spend less than $150 a year on mass-produced media (I don't watch TV ever, go to at most 6 movies a year, rent maybe 2 DVDs a month, and only buy music directly from the bands at their concerts.)
You may spend that directly, but how many of the products you buy are advertised and how much of that goes to the media industry? You cannot avoid paying the ad tax unless you buy only unbranded products, or live off the land somewhere.
I'm guessing that that was a proposal to divert a comet - painting one part white could possibly divert it over time by changing the amount of outgassing. You would have to paint one of the poles though, otherwise rotation would average things out. It would probably help to spray graphite over the other end.
I suspect that copyright infringement has its own statute of limitations and that it is not 2 years, but I am not going to spend the time finding out (regardless of when the last time I downloaded an mp3 was;).
All chemical equations must balance both atoms and charges.
In the case of copper:
2 FeCl3 + Cu => 2 FeCl2 + CuCl2
in the case of etching iron:
2 FeCl3 + Fe => 3 FeCl2
During the reaction, nothing much happens to the CL-, but two Fe+++ go to Fe++ and one Cu or Fe goes to Cu++ or Fe++.
Fe++ has a much lower electrolytic potential than Fe+++, and this is what drives the reaction.
Ferric chloride can be used to etch most metals and alloys, unless the metal(Cl)n salt that is formed is insoluble, in which case it will form a coating and physically interfere with the reaction. (You can use chelating agents to get around this, but thats another story:)

Not only will we still be around, the The Amiga will be making a comeback!!!
Technology companies come and go, but the big financials stay.

There is no chance that Bush will invade as France actually HAS got WMDs.
We really need a word that summarises "Organised criminal gangs that want to steal entire countries".
The word is Government.
The difference being that if you drive out to that store and ask to pay those prices I bet they would be quite willing to accomodate you.

No, losing your key would be like losing your drivers licence. You're still licenced to drive, you just can't prove it anymore.
Works for monsanto.
