  1. Pool linked to Violence on Videogames Really Are Linked to Violence · · Score: 3, Informative

I remember some findings by a Professor Harold Hill of Gary, Indiana that showed that Pool caused a great deal of trouble in River City, Iowa. If I recall correctly, this was evidenced by the fact that Trouble starts with a capital T which rhymes with P and that stands for Pool.

  2. Re:This isn't news on Online Store to Sue Blogger Over Google Ranking? · · Score: 1

Yeah, screw blogs. I mean I don't know anybody who reads the dumb things anyway. I especially don't know anyone who spends all day clicking reload on any blogs watching for new things to post and whiles away hours searching the internet for things that they can submit for "first post"... oh... crap... (cue crying game music)

  3. Re:Not listening to anything re HDD on PlayStation 3 HDD to Ship With Linux · · Score: 2, Insightful

What's the point of a hard drive in a console? Put in CD. Play. Save to a little memory card thingy. PATCHES. If consoles are ever going to be serious players for online gaming they need so support patches. Ever play SOCOM II online? That game sucked after about a week because of all of the cheats and bugs. I hope sony includes some sort of hard drive (even if its small) right out of the box because if it's an add-on fewer games will support it because they don't want to trim their potential market.

  4. AthenaRMS on Replacing FileMaker with Free Software? · · Score: 1

Check out AthenaRMS. It is a request management system but has very flexible form creation abilities and custom reporting. It can hook in to MySQL, PostGRES, and Oracle. AthenaRMS 5.0 is Open Source and listed on SourceForge. 5.1 is done and the forms customization is much better but that hasn't been Open Sourced yet because we're still researching licensing. For more information check out the AthenaRMS website.
