GIMP 2.2 Released

The Gimp has many features, but still has one of the messiest GUIs I've ever seen. What is their obsession with having undocked separate toolbox windows flying all around the screen?
Yes I know I'm replying to myself.
Is there an option somewhere where I can block all "Funny" messages?
(They all seem to be very lame coming from the same people that make "Funny" comments at parties and end up killing the conversation instantly!)
Why do people bother to enter such crap "humorous" messages? Just shut up! (Or could moderators delete them).
Anyway, what does the article mean by "showing signs of mortality"? I haven't heard anything about this except for the initial mishap they had when they had to reprogram one of the rovers.
Where does it get tunnelled to? Do you then have to do an SSH connection (the "tunnel") to a remote machine in order for the packets to get sent down the tunnel.
Then how does the port forwarding work at the other end? Thanks in advance.
I've found the actor who plays "Colin Mayhew". He is on a British TV series called "Eastenders".

2. Use the Wayback Machine to look at
a) http://uk.geocities.com/colinmayhewphd
b) http://www.r50rd.co.uk/research/internal/v2i/engin/
And oh what a surprise. Neither website is listed which means they are only a few months old. (The Wayback Machine only caches sites older than "a few months" according to the front page).
3) Do a whois search on www.r50rd.co.uk and lo and behold we find:
" Relevant Dates:
Registered on: 15-Jan-2004
Renewal Date: 15-Jan-2006"
So the site is only a few months old for sure. No, I don't think there is a chance that this guy suddenly decided to set up a website and put loads of 4 year old movies and broken links to pictures on it.
There's no way I'm buying a VW now. I shall tell all my friends not to as well. Don't mess with engineers. Damned arts students.
Oh, and the guy who did the animation went to Bournemouth University in the UK. See http://ncca.bournemouth.ac.uk/newhome/alumni/ba200 2/dmayhew.html for some of David Mayhew's stuff.

XMMS instead. It is compatible with Winamp skins and is Open Source. Hurrah!

Cheers mate. "Please go take a dump, you seem constipated." I may be constipated, but that doesn't make me anally retarded, unlike someone here...
Why is saying "Anyway, what does the article mean by "showing signs of mortality"?" off topic? Dime bar? D-i-m-e bar?
