  1. I never understood on Game Developers On Gold Selling · · Score: 0

I never understood why the game makers just go don't go "buy" the gold from the gold sellers and remove the gold from the game and contest the charge on paypal. Do that enough and the gold sellers will stop making real money and the in game gold just vanishes. This solves both the farming gold issue and the issue of people who find hacks in game to dup gold. So long as some one is willing to buy the gold for real money, then there will be some one willing to sell it. You've got to remove the ability of the gold sellers to make profit.

I bought Windows 95 that promised stability, security etc etc.. MS still hasn't delivered on that promise. XP didn't deliver either.. Why exactly would I spend money to "upgrade" to something that MS says will deliver on the promise made for Windows 95. /shrug. XP works fine in my vbox. And when the malware gets to be too much I just dump the vbox and start new. My base O/S (Solaris 10) seems to have no issue with stability, security etc.

Most of the phone traffic in the first world is already carried on digital networks with digital switches. Only in the most backward parts of Africa, India, and remote third world locales will you find completely analog phone networks still in use. That's not true. Most 3rd world countries have more advanced phone system then the USA. I've personally been in the Kuru (SA) and purchased a Coke from a vending machine using my Nokia Phone's Infrared port to select and make the puchase. There wasn't even a coin slot in the Coke machine. I'd venture to guess there are more outdated systems in the US then any other place in the world. Due to the US having one of the first systems in the world and the most difficult to upgrade. 3rd world countries don't have much of a system at all that is old or otherwise and therefore are starting now with very up to date technology.

The 747-400ER was heavily modified for that task. Also the shuttle has wings and provides some lift to the over all combine aircraft. While standing weight may be 910,000lbs, it is less at take-off speed since the shuttle is also providing lift. I'm sure there's some NASA web site with details some one will link.

I enjoyed being given 1 week a to train my replacement on VCS, Sendmail, anti-spam tools, pSeries Lpars, and Sun E6800s. It was a good thing he had an NT backgroud I'm sure he's doing just great now! Was a very enjoyable last week. Anyway..... All of IT was outsourced, from Director on down. So we all have great job references. Why would burning bridges really matter anyway? All they are alowed to say anymore is "yes s/he worked here from date x to date Y". No one gives references anymore. The only real references are the names you personally give to your prospective new employer.

While I feel GPL is a good thing for yast I'm highly annoyed that Sun Sparc has been dropped from support from this distro as well as others. Annoying trend as more commercial companies buy a Linux dist that they drop Sparc support.
