Apple said Mac OS X wil run just on Macs (of course). That chip is there to tell Mac OS X it's a Mac so it can run.
It doesn't do anything else. You still have complete control of the computer, and any operating system has (Windows, Linux, *BSD, BeOS and so on).
There's a proof I am right: here. Windows XP running on a apple developer intel machine.
How could this be possible if I wasn't right? The software has full control on the hardware even ignoring that chip (or tearing it away, if you're stupid enough: you won't be able to run Mac OS X). That chip isn't anything more than USB (or old serial ones) dongles given with some applications to make sure you're authorized to run them. It's just built on the motherboard.
I don't even play h.264 high resolution videos with my PowerMac MDD dual G4!
Looks like you need more than a Mac Mini.
Why did you buy one? Just because it was the cheapest mac?
Your needs aren't fullfilled by cheap computers. Buy a more powerful and expensive one and stop complaining!
If you need a Mac which has video card with a GPU supported by Core Image and 64 MB of Video RAM, why do you buy a Mac Mini?
Mac Minis are meant for people who really want a Mac but don't want to spend much money (and don't want professional or advanced features).
If you want a very powerful machine but still small, you'd rather buy a PowerBook.
You get what you pay for. The trick is buying something that fits your needs, not something that isn't meant for your needs and then complain it doesn't fit them.
Yeah! I agree.
I want the levels description! Something like "Warning: blow jobs" or "Warning: anal sex", or "doggy style", "she moans" and so on...
I would know exactly what to buy and it would be easier to tidy up my pr0n collection!
You're right, in fact Microsoft isn't accusing Google of breaking the contract, but of intentionally assisting Lee.
Like helping him to break the law, or something like that.
A picture wouldn't be enough, since it wouldn't have hot veins.
But maybe, based on a picture previously taken, a sheet of plastic or wood or another insulating material with iron veins: they could be just heated with a lighter, the veins would be way more hot than the insulating material... Would this work?
I've been shooting with a digital reflex and studying photography for a year, more or less.
Now I feel the need to learn how to develop film and print by myself, and black & white is the easiest way to start (and the cheapest one). Moreover, what you get with a B/W film is different from converting a color digital image to B/W with Pornoshop.
And a roll of Fuji Neopan 1600 shot at 3200 (or 6400) ASA is VERY different from anything you digies are used to!:P They're two different kinds of photographies, with different uses:)
It's sad hearing such news when you have just beaten the dust from your father's old hand-made enlarger.
Funny reading this from a first-poster.
What kind of authentication and encryption protocol will they use? IEEE 802.1x? PPPoE? (Just WEP? :P)
Just try playing h.264 videos with an old (or not-so-powerful) video card.
I write /whois and /away much more often than my passwords.
Yes, I'm IRC addicted...

So, please, stop saying nonsenses.
May I paraphrase?
I need the Mini to play video on HDTV. My needs are fullfilled by the mini, except for the main one (fullscreen HDTV)
Again, I don't think you bought something that is meant for your needs.
HDTV? 1920x1080?

- faster;
- more customizable (you backup exactly when you want to);
- less risky (does the provider peek into your data? what if it's being hacked?)
- cheaper;
- way more secure (I wouldn't allow ANYONE to access important data from the internet, never ever)
Sorry for the off topicYeah! I agree.

P = V*(V/R) = V^2R
Shouldn't this be V^2/R?
