I was upset moving from Pipex UK to Australia, given everything is download capped here. Turns out it doesn't cause me any problems in reality, and I'm quite a heavy downloader (well more than anyone I know IRL)
Using iinet in Melbourne Australia.
256k download (can't remember upload)
40AUD ~ 16 quid per month
Download cap of 12GB per day (PLUS 12GB in the "overnight zone") - so the total is 24GB.
Heavy bittorrent use, never reached total. I expect that's something to do with my low speed connection!
4. Everybody who says they would never buy one of the current Macs, but would buy this one for $500 out of impulse, is a damn liar. You can already buy a headless G4 Mac for under $600. Just go to eBay and buy an old G4 tower from about two years ago. Hell, for that matter, you can buy an old G3 tower which will run OS X just fine for about $300. Add a $100 CPU upgrade, and there's your G4 right there.
Although I may buy used / second-hand, I don't buy second-hand electronics. $500 is for a shiny new product.
I'm now living in Australia (moved from the UK 18 months ago) and I can tell you that the BBC License fee is WORTH EVERY PENNY. If I could get that content over here, I'd pay a lot more that 130 quid a year.
I'm frustrated that Apple have only addressed the photo quantity problem iPhoto 2.0 and earlier has (in that it begins to slug after the first few thousand photos) in a new commercial release. Is it worth paying for 4.0? Will I notice a difference?

Good one. I'll try that for a while.
Mine was about:blank for a long time. Then I moved to www.google.com. Now with the google deskbar, i'm considering moving back to about:blank.
