We don't have half of the stuff you listed available in Australia, and even what is available hasn't really had a huge uptake due to capped Internet plans and that sort of thing.
Maybe it has something to do with the fact that Australians don't live in Sweden? It may surprise you, but broadband growth has been at different paces all throughout the world.
The fact that this is slow compared to Sweden does not bother me in the slightest, because I don't live in Sweden.
In science class at high shcool once we were playing with a big Van de Graaf generator. Well the tacher was there and i was playing around with it and i stepped too far forward and about 10cm from it i heard a cracking sound and felt a little sting on my head. My friends told me afterwards they actually saw the big spark jump from the generator to my head. Apparently the shock was up close to 100,000 or 10,000 volts (cant remember) but obviously a very low amperage seeing i am still alive.
Foxtel Australia has just brought out it's new "digital" service. This includes a TechTV channel (although the programmes are a few days late compared to the US of A) and I have just started to really like the personalities on that channel. It has taken all my time away. Even though the tips and what not on there are things any person reasonable on a computer would already know, there are some great people on there.
To put these guys out of a job is horrendous, there are a lot of people who only watch the channel for the people on there. What are they going to do now?
Yeah they didn't have a very good system in place that would have picked the next president (something along the lines of the politicians get to choose).
I'll be writing my MP. I don't think I'm going to be an Australia much longer.
I don't see what iTunes has to do with scientific and medical research.

Not only that, the party, if they receive enough votes get reimbursed some money for campaign costs and other things.

Damn, some fool has sure misinformed me.
Maggies sucking sound was recorded once by Groening himself. It's replayed on a synthesizer.
Good list, pretty informative links and stuff too, thanks.
Nope.

I wouldn't have.
Did anyone think that perhaps the censorship of balls was purposely done? You know, as to say that he doesn't even have the balls to say balls.
There are ethical lawyers?
