    I wasn't aware that Bill Clinton was manufacturing ICBM technology.

    The only thing worse then the chinese are those damned homosexuals, oh and jesse jackson. Ooops I forgot janet jackson's nipple. Damn I forgot the french, the french suck too. The germans suck too but since we like their cars and beer so much we are going to boycott them. It's OK to boycott the french because all they make are wine and cheeze. We can't boycott china though cos that would mean never going to a walmart ever again.

    No I don't fleece them, other businesses do. I take advantage of the mechanisms that businesses put in place.

    Take for example rebates. Manufacturers know most people don't mail in the rebate so they sell their product at less then cost (after rebate). The suckers pay more so I can pay less.

    No it means the porche was pearls before a swine. Just like linux is pearls before a swine for JWC. Some people are incapable of appreciating or using linux that's their character flaw. The fact they lash out against linux when faced with their own inadequacy does not make them wise or right.

    YEs but people are PROUD of their ignorance and incompetence.

    Hos many times have you seen right here on slashdot someone saying something like "I tried to get linux for three days before I gave up and installed windows". If I could not get linux installed in three days I would be ashamed to broadcast it to everybody on slashdot.

    I might buy that argument if Bush actually improved he economy, didn't interfere with free markets by subsidizing steel, or cunducted an effective war in Iraq.

    Instead he had a net job loss, turned a surplus into a massive deficit, increased the size of the govt more then anybody else in history including creating one of the largest departments in govt, and royally botched an invasion and occupation of iraq.

    So the only reason to vote for him was because "god spoke though him", "god told him to run", "god made him win", and "god told him to invade iraq". That and he promised never to let the homosexuals marry.

    It doesn't really matter. What linux did was stop MS from gaining a monopoly on the server and that alone is worth everything.

    Having said that there is no doubt Linux will eat into the MS market both on the server and the client. Maybe not enough to kill them or anything but enough to make them "just another company".

    In summary, Linux will collapse the Unix market into itself, linux has stopped the MS juggernaut in it's tracks, linux will slowly gain desktop share. All and all not bad for something that's created by dirty communist hippies.

    I think it does. Why else would somebody claim that Bush has better morals then Kerry? Bush is responsible for the deaths of over 100,000 people in both iraq and afghanistan and opened up the guantanamo concentration camps.

    Unfortunately it's become fashionable in the US to profess your ignorance and stupidity. Although most people would still be ashamed to admit it if they were illiterate they proudly proclaim that they "know nothing about computers" or "can't do math".

    Of course it does not help that the chattering classes continually sneer at the "intellectual elite" and bash the educated every opportunity they get. These days having an "east coast education" is out of fashion but listening to Toby Keith CDs all the rage.

    There is a better word for it. Sucker!. People are suckers. Suckers are there to be fleeced. My friend had a poster that said "Life is tough, it's tougher if you are stupid".

    To be honest I love suckers. The world needs the suckers to click on ads, punch the monkey, don't mail in the rebate, buy the shiny objects next to the loss leaders, etc.

    The rest of us can take advantage of them getting fleeced by mailing in the rebates and only buying the loss leaders.

    The suckers click on ads so I get free internet content and filter the ads out.

    And he is also a religious fundamentalist. During his vice presidential campaign he did not leave his house on saturdays. He made a joke about it on David letterman.

    There are not a lot of democrats that are religious fundamentalists but he is one.

    Really? Which people? I am sure everybody in redmond agrees but I don't and neither do most people I know. Most people I know find Linux to be an incredibly productive environment, way more then windows.

    But let's presume for a moment that you are right and that a lot of people agree with him. Does that make him right? How many people agree that evolution should not be taught in schools? How many people believe in UFOs?

    Right. And I have tested it myself. I am way more productive in linux then I am in windows. Ask anybody who uses linux daily and I bet they say the same thing.

    The only people who are not productive in LInux are nubes who don't know how to use linux. Of course that's to be expected. I can't stick my grandma in a porche with a stickshift and expect her to get to where she wants to go. She doesn't know how to drive a stick. SHe is better off with that ten year old taurus wagon she is driving.

    Does that mean that a porche is inferior to a taurus wagon? According to JWZ it is. I say he is full of shit.

    As I said he is better off pimping alcohol to addicts.

    These people just got the president re-elected. They have more power today then they have ever had. Not only does the president agree with them pretty much 100% he is indebted to them for his election.

    Expect the PTC and the rest of the Christian fundemantilist movement to push and get through most of their agenda in the next four years.
