A 'best of breed' solution that facilitates synergy and the maximization of ROI. Blizzard needs to drill down and focus on their core competencies, and start thinking outside the box.
I might consider listening if they would just play something *different*.. How many times per day can you listen to No Doubt covering "It's My Life" before you can't help but ram an icepick through your head?
I don't think so. I use Siebel 7 where I work, and it's the biggest pile of poop that's ever been passed of as "enterprise class" software that I've ever seen.
While Children of Dune was well done, the SciFi Channel version of the original Dune wasn't quite so cinematically adept. Notice the borrowed techniques taken from the Batman TV series: Whenever the bad guys were shown, they were always backlit in red with the camera tilted. When Feyd was fighting the slave, I half expected to see a "KaPow!" balloon show up on the screen..
Ditching ActiveX, does anyone actually use this for anything other than malware anymore?
Yes. Aside from the windows update site, there are a whole crapload of corp intranets that use ActiveX. To get rid of it would cause a lot of grief for their corporate customers. What they CAN do (and have done for Win2k3, and I suspect they'll be doing for XP SP2) is disable ActiveX components by default for non-trusted sites. You can do this today yourself if you really want, by going to the security tab in the IE->Tools->Internet Options dialog.
SSLVPN browser clients, for one. Those that are based on Java are nowhere near as flexible.

Were I in that position, I would say "no" as well. Most people would for good reason; such a fee is not inherently fair.
In addition to Funny, that comment should also be Insightful.
Are ther any good Siebel stories? I'm curious!

As prudish as a large portion of US citizens may be, the most extreme (and sick) porn I've ever seen comes from the US.
:)
Have you downloaded/rented/bought any GGG porn lately?

But at least you can "drop packets" without actually losing data..
