I hardly use the actual button on my PowerBook. I find tapping the trackpad to be much more intuitive.
One feature I'd like to see is two-finger tapping to go along with two-fingered scroll. A two-finger tap for the second mouse button would be great. (Yes, I've sent feedback to Apple about this already.)
Not Apple's problem, but if Firefox could stop navigating my history when I scroll left and right, that'd be good too. (yeah yeah, "fix it yourself.")
Because that would turn the PS3 into a Sony-subsidized workstation.
They need the licensing fees in order to recover the loss on hardware sales. They don't want to sell a lot of consoles that aren't going to be used for games.
They have Linux for PS2, though, so they are open to the idea once they've made their cash... Look for Linux for PS3 in 2010.
It wasn't pre-emptive; the PC trolls got modded down.
Why us Mac users feel we need to read at -1 to catch and respond to all the flamebait, is another question altogether...

This is why X11 apps don't fare well on the Mac either... They're painful to use. Simple as that.

I haven't noticed that many people consider Gnome/GTK or KDE/KParts to be part of the operating system. They're separate projects.
So why should Aqua/Cocoa be considered part of the operating system?
