we se the "LA LA LA!! I CAN"T HEAR YOU!! LA LA LA LA!!!" theory of government in action.
I'd ask why the hell people would seriously consider anyone connected with this Administration for any sort of public service ever again, but I fear you'd tell me and I'm just not up for it anymore.
You forgot his Unitary Executive, Misunderestimate Me and Appoint Lackey feats:
Unitary Executive: Ignores rules for character generation. Can ignore any or all rules of combat, at will, as long as Memo of John Woo is in possession.
Misunderestimate Me: Is underestimated for the wrong reasons. Add +6 inherent bonus to Bluff, and a -6 inherent penalty to all Diplomacy rolls made on his behalf, even by another PC or an NPC.
Appoint Lackey: Anyone he appoints to an Administration position takes a -8 inherent penalty to all relevant skills. The only way to avoid this penalty is to not have any skills applicable to the position.
"Despite complaints that Fox News should be subject to campaign finance laws since they are donating huge amounts of money in the form of advertising and media services to candidates, the FEC will not regulate Fox News. From the FEC statement: 'While the complaint asserts that Fox News advocates for the election of Republicans for federal office, the commission has repeatedly stated that an entity that would otherwise qualify for the media exemption does not lose its eligibility because it features news or commentary lacking objectivity or expressly advocates in its editorial the election or defeat of a federal candidate.'"
Yes, that's unfair of me. Daily Kos doesn't deserve to be compared to Fox News.
You know, every now and then I forget why I eschew commenting on Slashdot for the deep philosophical discussions on the WoW forums.
And every now and then, I get a reminder.
You're eight? My, you're precocious.
You mean yours doesn't?
Yes it does.
Because you will be there to talk to her about them.
Although I admit that Firefox and NoScript are handy for popups, no tool that you can install on your system will beat engaged parenting.
Keep the computer in the living room.

I point out that at no time have I referred to him as "tech-savvy".
Point taken.
for whom "tech-savvy" isn't another term for "knows what order the crayons go back in the box".
Because that worked so well with the last guy.
That's what I get for trusting CNN.
On the other hand, have you sat through Mission Impossible:II?

They were just waiting for somebody on Slashdot to give them the idea.
Seriously, though - I found this odd too. Those criminals are showing an awful lot of respect for other people's property.
that nobody's stolen it or taken a baseball bat to it.
Yet.
a lot less difference between "some" and "more" than "some" and "none".
until we had to move, we had a couples game going.
in our group and I have been married for fifteen years.
We have a six year old daughter that plays a halfling rogue.
I find the inevitable "D&D players never get laid" responses to RPG stories bitterly amusing, but getting old.
Look, I'm beginning to see the answer.
before Eberron gets converted. My warlock is going to love this.
Well, let's hope the DM doesn't fall in love with 4th. Ed that quickly, or is willing to put in a crapload of work if he does.
will the online tools work? Will it be all on the site or will I have to download a utility? Will I be able to view them on my Linux system?
Is 4th edition going to be compatible with 3.5, or are you going to break backwards compatibility like you did with 3.0?
Do you have any idea what the monthly subscription rate for D&D Insider will be?
Will you be publishing compatibility guides for your campaign worlds, and when? What campaigns will be supported in 4.0?
What do you think, based on playtesting, the learning curve is like?
I know, more than one question, but so many of the rest of the comments are the same tired old gamer-bashing that I think I'm entitled.
Oh, and my six year old daughter wants an easy-reader version.
we have an old desktop I can get working, too.
Yes, I did.
I won't have money for it, barring an unusually large Christmas bonus, until March.
Thanks anyway.
My six year old was playing with one of these at a science-fiction convention and we only got it away from her with some difficulty.
If they became commercially available in the US I'd buy one - and yeah, I missed the "buy 2 get 1" promo.
And naturally, by the time I post this six people have made the same point, and better.
This would be why I post to Slashdot once a month now.
