No, but it also doesn't cost apple near the same as us to buy the memory for the SD.

As someone who also works for a financial institution, I can tell you what is most likely happening. Because of delicate data(as someone already mentioned), Financial Institutions often have to have their employees "Bonded". This is basically a type of insurance taken out against that person jacking up someone's data. Most often, "Bonded" persons cannot be felons. This is likely the reason for them being fingerprinted. To ensure that they have never committed a felony. I myself also went through this procedure.

I think the point of some people is the statment: "So far I have paid additionnal fees for WoW and played nothing else."

The point being that while you've bought all those games at $50 or so a pop, these folks(myself included) have only purchased one. Three extra games at $50 a pop is $150...that's 10 months of Wow subscriptions. Starting to see the point?

Actually I don't think there would be a loophole, since the definition of "used" would be "already had tax paid on it".

Also, I'm not an expert but I don't think it will work for the following reason: For the very first stoke this will work fine, but after the pressure escapes through the exhaust port. The remaining air in the cylinder is still heated so you will no longer get any thermal expansion from that same air. To do this correctly, the air in the cylinder would have to be replaced with an inlet valve. You would also have to have 2 of these since there is nothing to bring the piston back down. This is assuming you're not using some spring or relying on the momentum of the shaft somehow. Just my non-expert two cents.

Ok, I hate to be picky, but I believe cooling something adds to the Entropy of some, not subtracts from it. A total state of entropy includes a temperature of 0 degrees Kelvin. =)

Ok, I'm not saying this isn't impressive, but since it's using everything included in DX8.0, it's not really fair to say it's that small. I mean, look at it another way...If you built a mod for UT2K4 that was 150k would you be jumping up and down? No, because it requires > 1GB worth of stuff to be downloaded first. In the end though, that's still some pretty tight programming
