    Don't charge $500 per game for a family to go.

    For an NFL game, any seats but nose-bleed, that's low-ball.

    I gave up my Seahawks season tickets and instead bought a huge TV for my basement "Man Cave", and a subscription to see the games I want to see.

    Never again will I get raped by the live seat price, though Comcast (or whoever) will still rape me to a certain degree.

    But with Comcast (amazingly) I don't get fucked up the ass as much as with the NFL at a "live tag team match" on the field.

    Properly targeted campaign donations would almost certainly be more cost effective.

    Apparently, they are not doing this or it isn't as effective as the money from local business?

    State and local politicians know who elects them, and it ain't Elon Musk.

    The courts are the only way for Tesla out of this bullshit.

    You don't understand. Tesla is trying to sell to the public... and states are saying "You're not ready!"

    No, that's not at all what the states are saying. Auto dealerships have paid politicians to pass laws that prevent direct sales because it is a threat to their business model.

    Rent a Tesla for $1. This is a one-time offer. Limit one per customer. Problem solved.

    I like this idea, but there must be some reason that Tesla is not doing it. Also, I think Tesla should focus on breaking these absurd laws. Tesla has shitloads of cash available from its founder, Tesla should take a "scorched earth" approach and start suing, and take all the way up.

    I know everyone is all over Uber and and the other one because the cars are "nicer" and the service "better" than cabs. But I have a basic problem with Uber and Lift, and that is in the fakery of their liability claims. The facts are ( as presented in MANY news stories) if you get injured in an Uber or Lift car, those CORPORATE entities will deny virtually all liability. So you go after the driver, right? But guess what? He's not insured for paying passengers. SHELL GAME.

    The story implies that COBOL is an ancient outdated language. But this is not true. COBOL serves a specific niche and does so quite well, and indeed like C and FORTRAN has been enhanced through the ages. Sure, you can't really code a bleeding edge website with COBOL (and FORTRAN), but that's not what they are for.
