It varies, for depending on the place a few elections might be happening at the same time: presidency, senate, congress, the equivalent to the US governor, the equivalent to congress for regions, maybe even your own council. Got to explain, Spain is pretty much a federal system with 17 independent governments, although they're not *that* independent as they are in the US. In some regions they may even take the chance to consult the citizenship on legislative matters also.

The last 0.5% takes about 3 days to be computed, these come from abroad

In Spain the polls close at 8pm and typically 90% of the votes have been counted by 11:30pm, 95% one hour later and 98% by 3am. This is a country with 45 million inhabitants.

I guess that's why you want military advisers for. The president needs only his intelligence and common sense to take the right decision of the choices that have been put before him. One person cannot know ALL of military, economics, education, healthcare and so on.

Same here. Our source tree is around 2GB and it takes around 1/2h to checkout.

That said, I'm a subversion whore. Not a big fan of p4, but it does work very well indeed.

Don't follow this advice. Leaving the clutch disengaged at traffic lights, stops at traffic jams etc will warp the clutch plates and wear the release bearing quicker.

Furthermore, the fuel consumption of a car whose throttle is not being actioned and is over 20mph is exactly zero. If you disengage the clutch, it needs to burn fuel to keep the engine going and avoid stalling.

Therefore gliding downhill in neutral or with a disengaged clutch is not only counterproductive to save fuel, it's also dangerous due to loss of control of the car itself and very taxing on the engine components when you engage the gear or the clutch again.
