  1. Who didn't see this coming? on XBox Owner Sues Microsoft · · Score: -1, Flamebait

I like my 3 xbox systems, but this has been a problem from day one. MS will not recall any devices which have the bad drives. They charge shipping to get a replacement or to make repairs to your xbox. If you call the phone hotline they play dumb and make you jump thru 10 hoops until they finally admit that the drive has gone bad, and even then they still blame the owner of the machine. This is something MS failed to address and they continue to sweep under the rug in hopes it will just go away. Good Luck Sean.

If you can save $100/200 on the CPU price, then a quality fan for $30-40 is well worth it to overclock. The only change between CPU speeds for the same core is the test rating Intel gives them as they are cut off the die. They are all the same speeds, just different production quality. I wouldn't be surprised if some higher speed CPU's are just marketed lower to sell them quicker... this is why OC'ing works well and sells chips.

First off you should recommend that the cable/dsl connection have hardware based firewall. These are cheap enought for even grandma to buy. Secondly, you can wrap all the hotfix and service packs into the install of XP by creating an unattended cd and using cmdlines.txt to install the fixes.
