I abhor IE, but all the professional web designers I know prefer people to use it rather than Firefox, because the bugs remain constant across version numbers. This means they can develop permanent work-arounds.
I think my biggest concern is that the principle of only needing one mouse button in OS X will be left by the wayside. Context menus and such-like are great for power users, but I also know that if I want to do anything in OS X, it'll be there in the main menu too.
You obviously haven't been keeping up on your mac rumours. Mini-OS X may be on the way. Of course, only time and lawsuits will tell if this rumour is true.

As part of my research, I tried out this search engine. I searched for 'disparity compensation light fields'. The first result? A page about a writing competition which included neither 'disparity', 'compensation', 'light', or 'fields'. Cracking.
