    I thought it was a pretty good movie, especially when the lactose-intolerant one is running to the crapper and shoves a woman out of the way, yelling "MOVE, BITCH!" in a deep manly voice. Hehe... then he takes the noisiest crap you ever heard... lol.

    THe logistics are difficult? If I recall correctly, the server sends the client (somethign like) the product of a few random primes, and the client factors it and sends back the primes. That's a 5 or 10 second calculation, for each email. Only strain is on the spammers.

    You could make a boot/root disk, and store kernel modules on the stick to save space. chroot into the memory stick and run from there.

    True first paragraph. My point, though, was that these robots are replacing people, while cars only replaced horses and carriages, which don't need their jobs to feed their families. This isn't going to open any avenues for humans, except maybe a few repairman jobs (which will be 1 technician for tens or hundreds of robots).

    Fermat's words were "I have discovered a truly remarkable proof but this margin is too small to contain it." That's why he didn't write it. Also, the proof, found in 1995 I think, was hundreds of pages of complex exponential algebra, clearly not what Fermat came up with.

    Yes, then the roobt detects the hand tremors and removes them, so that the doctor doesn't accidentally slice open an artery or whatever. I *think* it's called the Da Vinci Surgical System.

    Robots are also being used in delicate surgeries, to ease hand tremors by the surgeon. They use various methods of control, but the basic idea is the doctor is in a different room and the robot in the operating room, weilding the scalpel, clamps, camera, etc.

    Saturn is pretty boring-looking. It doesn't have those cool bands of color Jupiter has. The movie needed cool shots of colorful planets and Saturn couldn't deliver.

    Oh, but there were 20 definitions in google's define:metadata, and that's just so much to read. Had he read it, he'd have noticed that 13 have the exact phrase "data about data", 3 say "information about data" instead, one says "information about a file", one says "data about the data", one says "data that describes something", and one says "Data that provides information about, or documentation of, other data". I wouldn't have modded it interesting.
