    A dutch newspaper states "City's are obligated to archive their history. Pornography included."

    I'm dutch, didn't know. But beleive its a good thing they archive everything though. Imagine how much wiser we where if they did that from the start. (say ~10.000 years ago)

    As for marketing: Market to developers.
    I am one, and missing an startpoint as for the package of developing an application. That options exist, i know. But what is *the* drop-in develop environment for say, Ubuntu?

    Perhaps i should make this a "axe slashdot":
    What IDE should i use install and get going without having to figure out all sorts of things not related to building a new application?

    Seems i've been spoiled.
    At the companies i worked i found hardly any regulations in place. Besides the like of "show up before 09:30" and "no unscheduled weekend hours" you where to make your own decisions:

    It basicly came down to
    "Per month work an average of 40 hours per 5 workdays."

    In IT I worked as consultant and rented employee for support and development clients. (The Netherlands)

    Surprised nobody before claims to have dynamic hours. Or they don't care. Article is not slashdot worthy imho..

    I remember spending weeks delving in MS-DOS, QBASIC and such before a expensive repair guy told me i could rightclick on files and such, and that wildcards existed.

    It was my moment of zen.

    You are right.
    But the nerd in me states combining 2 parts hydrogen on 1 part oxygen produces "new" water, which ofcourse has a short history.
