    It is assumed they are not living up to their treaty obligations. But regardless the US does not want Iran to have any nuclear capability, which is in violation of the treaty; Iran can have peaceful nuclear programs.

    It's not a cold war artifact. It's an artifact of Nuclear War. Each side knows the other side can blow you out of the water, so you don't attempt a strike. Should one side feel they can survive an attack, the likelihood of a strike increases.

    "Underage workers have been discovered but are fairly rare. They don't seek out child workers; why would they when there are plenty of adults that aren't any more expensive?     You have people committing suicide - that tells you something is wrong. You have people living in crammed "dorms" and working 12 hour shifts. Are so such a heartless bastard to ignore this conditions. Apple is only saving 20% but still getting 70% to 80% markup.

    Actually no. There were points they could not verify but decided to present them because they were able to verify others. It was sloppy work and incredibly slimy of them to backslide. Who the fuck cares whether or not he visited the factory were workers were poisoned. The story is workers were poisoned at a factory NOT Daisey didn't visit said factory. Way to take your eye's off the ball TAL!

    Actually This American Life made this a big deal. Killing the messenger while ignoring the message. Let's ignore the fact that workers were poisoned at factory and focus on the fact that Daisey didn't visit that factor. Yeah that's what really matters. *Eye Roll*

    Thank You! I run across this all the time. The private sector has it's own rules and regulations. Basically, it comes down to the people running the show. You can have well run government agencies the same way you can have poorly run corporations. It's the people that make the difference. This public versus private debate is pure crap.
