    I suppose the lesson is do not make adjustments after the fact. Setup separate high roller machines and monitor them. Which is what the casino is suppose to be doing in the first place.

    Why?

    This is a far cry from a player coming in with a device intent on cheating the game.

    Through the normal use of the machine, players found a system where they can win. It's up the the casino to check their machines. How many instances are there where a machine should have paid out but didn't?

    And $430k is a pittance for a casino. They weren't raking in millions.

    The same reasons Microsoft wants people to dump Lotus Notes for Sharepoint.

    Microsoft markets Sharepoint as some Lotus Notes killer but fails to explain the cost of migrating and rewriting all your Lotus Notes applications and fails to point out the limitations of Sharepoint and the fact that functionality that you had in Lotus Notes does not exists in Sharepoint.

    If you are building desktop computer that might be an issue, it's not for mobile devices. That's the whole point. These are mobile devices. Mobile devices do not use the same bloated OS that desktop systems use. The iPhone, iPad and iPod do not use OS X, the use iOS. This is why Windows 7 fails on a tablet PC and why Microsoft has failed to delivery a tablet. You need a specialized version.

An operating system has security flaws because of its design not because of the number of people using it.

    OS X would have to have the same types of security flaws that Windows has in order for OS X to have a similar number of exploits.

    Yeah except you did not have a CS program. You had an electronics program. Building a computer is not CS. Setting up networks is not CS. Installing an Operating System is not CS. Troubleshooting a PC is not CS. In fact most of everything you talk about is not CS.

    So no Georgia did not have a great CS education program. The fact that you thought you did, means they had fooled you well.
