2001 Space Odyssey. Hollywood is about special effects.
Kip Thorne was used for nothing more than propaganda - hey look we have a Physicist on staff. He's not the end all be all of Physics. A wormhole by Saturn - really Kip? Because that's a natural spot for one, unlike say, the center of the Galaxy! You know where a black holes might be found - where one might turn out be a worm hole!
Kip Thorne, like Carl Sagan need to stay away from movies.
LMOL, umm no Sherlock they would not have been ripped apart. A Worm hole is not a black hole. The big questions is whether or not a worm hole is stable enough to allow travel through it.
Isn't that the argument for warrantless wire taping, something might happen in the future? Wasn't that reason to invade Iraq, they might develop nuclear weapons...
As long as you get the speeds you paid for, it doesn't. The problem was Verizon blackmailed Netflix to pay protection money to prevent Netlfix traffic from being throttled, i.e., slowed down. As long as you get the speeds you paid for and not throttled, network management that improves traffic would not violate net neutrality.
Thank you for agreeing with everyone that your ISP is over-charging you by selling you bandwidth that you can never hope to have. Interesting how Verizon, AT&T and Comcast *NEVER* tell you that you won't every realize your speed, all they say is BLAZING FAST SPEEDS but fail to tell you, but you'll never see it.
It's also called invest in infrastructure which ISPs seem loathed to do.
Exactly. Their market research should also be suspect. No one is going to point to research that shows their ad model does not work. Just because you see an ad for Budweiser does not mean you will go buy it and if you are predisposed to buy it, then you don't need a commercial.
What part of "However, current Verizon subscribers will need to let the company know they want to save money (or get more data)." did you not understand? It was in the summary. Read before posting.
Unlike all the Billions and Billions of dollars US tax payers have subsidized telecoms....you're right the US tax payer has given more in subsidies....
Guilt? Let's try gut. They taking Billions of tax payer dollars in the name of rolling out broad band and have not done that. Companies should be broken up.
Because Google is available in every market and there's no barrier for Google entering these markets *eye roll*
You might want to read Google petition to the FCC to reclassify ISPs as Title II common carriers. This will allow Google access the utility poles to run fiber which in many cases they do not.
LMOL Here's a thought, ask them. Seriously you really don't know how government works do you, let alone IT procurement. There's things called budgets and upgrade cycles. Most companies have a budget and a upgrade cycle where you replace equipment. Perhaps you haven't noticed the IRS budget has been slashed and continues to be cut. That's beyond odd since the IRS generates revenue for the Federal government and insures all Americans pay their taxes.

You mean a conservative ass unless you think pimping for Chevron is liberal or are going on the basis of his color...
Up until now, it has been. This is a proposal, i.e., vapor ware. Seems like you bought it hook line and sinker.

I simple mistake? Sending out 800 acceptance letters for 100 spots? That a more than a simple mistake. Guess you failed reading comprehension.
If Bill Gates is representative of MS fanboys...I highly doubt it.....

No because it's too easy to look up this information. Figure it out for yourself.
Good luck with 4k. Also, how many people are streaming moves over your piddly 6 Mbps DSL....Think before you post.

I know. People need to stop using the term "disruption." They don't know what it means and aren't using it correctly. Just stop.
It is an unbiased view. Those are facts based on employment research.
Pay your taxes hippie.
So I take it you never get a raise at your job. Good for you.

Right because those companies are tasked with collecting taxes and performing audits of all tax paying Americans *eye roll*
Actually it was in all the newspapers if you bothered to read.
Way to follow the heard Google....FYI it's also nice to know that you see no value in people, "they still use human agents"
