    Absolutely. I spent the last four years in a dairy milking area, and it's incredible how the town has to run itself by the timetables of dairy farmers. Given the small margins made on milk here in Australia, most smaller farms (200 head, say) just can't afford extra labourers.

    Apart from the odd broken fence, it's not that likely to happen, at least on the dairy farms I know. If the bull's in the same paddock as the cows, they've been dried off and they won't be milking.

    And if a bull does get into the paddock, he's going to be way too busy to check out the dairy.

    It seems to my untrained eye that the developers only have to provide the source for the changes they distribute.

    Given that there don't appear to be any publically available binaries yet, they're in compliance with the MPL.

    I should also point out that although the CFA staff are volunteers, they are quite well trained and professional in their approach to their jobs.

    I know Warrnambool quite well, and I can say that the CFA there are definitely better than the volnteers firefighters of Springfield, although I can't really speak for the rest of the town...

    The CFA will also routinely deal with incidents involving downed power lines--car accidents, storm damage and so on--and thus (as others have pointed out) need to be able to determine if a line is live or not.

    Down here in Australia voters tend to go for whoever gives the upper-middle class more free stuff, and to hell with the poor.

    And this is a country with proportional representation and in which voting is compulsory for all citizens eighteen years and above.

    I've seen this word many times, but the author nearly always comes from a non-English speaking background. I presume the equivalent term for 'software' in certain other languages has separate singular and plural forms which is mistakenly carried over into English.

    Unfortunately, English has many native speakers who do their utmost to sound retarded, as you seem (my guess) to have done admirably.

    No offence intended to people who may, in fact, be retarded, however you want to interpret that word.
