    Actually, if it made Twitter and all its ilk go away, I'd be kind of happy.

    Why? Are you some kind of control freak who insists that everyone who doesn't like what you like or likes what you don't like are to be punished or banished to the nether regions?

    Just asking.

    No, if I were such a control freak, I'd be a really frustrated one, since things I don't like don't oblige me by being consigned to the nether regions. :)

    I'm annoyed by people who expect me to join these things so they can follow my tweets, or add me to their lists of 'friends' Not seriously annoyed, I just create a bland entry that gives little away, and ignore it.

    You *really* wanted to talk about emacs though, I suppose.

    Buy a later version of a Microsoft product, and you (sometimes) get the option (and sometimes it blithely over-writes) to uninstall the previous version. I'm not saying it does a good job of doing this...

    Sounds like a good idea, rather then fish Tuna to extinction they're solving the problem by make better Tuna.

    Now all we have to have to a bigass debate on slashdot about how this is going to make DRM zombie tunas while ignorantly forgetting the fact that "Natural" tuna have had their genes altered through hundreds of years of breading.. Basically like every other time DNA altering comes up in a story..

    Breaded tuna? That's disgusting! Grill them instead, or better yet, have them rawr!

    If you want the game, it isn't a problem to order it online and get it fedexed here. Customs have more to do than check dvd sized fedex packs.

    I've even saved money doing it like this.
