    Some of the reduced effort to level is good, that which applies to characters after your first. Make it hard once, sure, but once you've done the hard metres[1] once, leveling is just learning to play your class. And making you walk instead of ride/fly once you've done it once is dumb.

    It's in our blood. Some work on x360s, others (like me) do coffee machine mods with ARM controllers, PID temperature controllers, etc. I'm sure it horrifies Rancilio. But it gets Windows programming out of our minds for a while.

    For one thing, Microsoft has always had a larger strategy in mind with the XBox, namely taking over the living room as much as they have the desktop.

    I'd be happy to use my laptop to play them in the living room.

    That assumes the systems to get this information are working, maybe they are not, because that machine is misbehaving itself in a way that is fucking the network, and you need to go and disconnect it forceably. (and cluebat the luser who decided that being a dns server (or whatever, that's a random example) was a good idea)

    i4i created and sold a product that M$ stole.

    Stealing a product, which is what he was referring to, is closer to copyright infringement than patent infringement. But MS didn't steal a product, they stole the idea. Kind of funny seeing MS getting cut by that.

    Um, given the number of addins available for Word, that would mean Microsoft couldn't 'improve' their product by adding features. Some would say that's a good thing, given the feature bloat its got. But addin conflicts in Office are a headache to deal with.
