Creating community spaces that are both open and useful is a challenge. Some sites have risen to it by insisting on
strict registration policies; other use cool collaborative filtering schemes.
I think the magic border is down around the Grapevine. North of there, freeways have names like I-5, I-80, and Highway 50. South, everything is "the 5" or "the 210".
