I've met quite a few people who have nonstationary veins; that is, veins that they can move around, that twist under their fingers and stay in their new position, etc.
Based on the "not compatible with DRM" bit, I'm guessing it's no more powerful than an autorun script that loads a driver to access a data portion of the CD and prevent access of the normal audio tracks.
I can install Gentoo, Debian, Ubuntu, or Red Hat (off the top of my head, probably Mandrake too) off of a single CD, given an internet connection...and even that's not completely necessary.
That said, how many CDs does M$ need to install an office suite, development IDE with associated tools, and operating system? Last I checked, it was at least three, ignoring the fact that Visual Studio has more CDs than Debian does (unless you're using some REALLY obscure packages with no net connection).
I agree wholeheartedly. It becomes increasingly aggravating when I hear parents complaining about how violent and nasty their young teenage kids have become, especially when they just went out and bought their kids GTA:Vice City.
I'm too tired, insert your own "Fear-Based Culture Of America" rant here.
Occasionally, I'll take out one of my old floppies for some reason, and find a boot sector virus on it. Heheheh. Thanks to resident scanning (if I happen to be on a Windows box), I only see the uninfect option, not a problem. And under Linux, which I usually run...who cares?:D
The grandfather post explicitly said that that was already checked, and OE is still installed and annoying him.
Short of editing the list of files WFP restores, and disabling any whining Outlook does (yes, Outlook throws errors if you delete Express...), there is no viable way to do this.
As someone said above: Think before you post. It helps.
Mod parent underrated, if it's true, this is quite interesting, and shows that either we're all idiots (no comment), or their phone staff has no idea what they're talking about.
I'd just grab several WAP54Gs [or whatever your preference is in 802.11g APs], along with a single WRT54G [or whatever your preference is in 802.11g routers, again] and configure them for ad-hoc mode.
If you want something more complicated, configure one AP in infrastructure mode and configure the rest as repeaters.

How will this system handle these?
I've actually found that WINE plays Warcraft III under Linux better for me.
YMMV of course.
Hey, what a coincidence.
WINE plays all of those too, and doesn't cost anything.
My friend introduced me to this game several months ago.
They've been playing it on and off with few problems connecting for years.
I think the tenses in the story are a bit off...
Where are my mod points when I need them?
Mod parent insightful.

*shrug*
Anyone wanna bet the backdoor is holding Shift?
My friend's high school teacher is an Appleseed member, and he got his last week...
So, let me see if I understand this.
They made a patch to implement their unique variant of vFAT to an old version of the old kernel and claim it's better.
Great job, Sony.
Thanks, I needed a good chuckle.

My web server's statistics indicate that Netscape 8 had more users than Opera 8.
I think my point about Opera being a competitive browser has been made.
Seconded.
:D
I don't miss those days.

Thank you, sir, for confirming my minority belief that there are intelligent Slashdot posters...albeit ones with minor stylistic flaws.
Yup.
It comes with all of the standard security hol-err, features of IE built right in!
I can only think of one use for IE, off the top of my head:
As a tool to access a web site in order to get a better browser.
You're an idiot.

Site no longer exists, I submitted a story a few weeks ago about them removing the notice of a May release, but it never got posted.

Advice duly noted. I'll have to try them, since I've had crappy experiences with D-Link [well duh] and SMC [old, old 802.11b device].
The sad thing is, I suspect that most of the lusers of the US wouldn't argue with this statement (much).
I disagree with that policy, but I'm in the minority, apparently.

Oh, I'm sorry. I forgot to Google.
IT EXISTS
Go build one. You'll make billions.
A USB 2.0 compliant one. Duh.
