Isn't it open source? If so why hasn't anyone ported it? After all if there's a demand, then surely that's where the open source community has the advantage over the closed source community.
At least, its what we're always hearing. Perhaps it isn't as feasible as people here claim?
going to OpenOffice from MS Office is waaaaay easier than going to the GIMP from PhotoShop.
I find GIMP pretty damn easy to use. Do I use it for advanced features? Of course not. But then again, most home users don't either despite having it installed illegally.
My family call me a tight-ass because I think OOo serves all my needs and that there are no functions in Microsoft Office 2007 that would be more efficient.
Same with hardware. That's why Dvorak keyboards are worse then QWERTY ones. Despite the fact they're not, you know, actually worse but are in fact better.
I don't know who Quant is, but Australians are actually doing pretty good at the moment so I wouldn't too surprised if we do stop flying Qantas. Their main feature was that they were safe, ever since they sent their maintenance off to China to save a few bucks, they've had nothing but trouble.
Hopefully this will teach other companies that a reputation is important.
So I tried Opera a while back and the pages were noticeably slower to load then in Firefox. Having just tried it now, I can safely say that its finally a bit faster. I'll be happily switching and taking advantage of all of Opera's features that Firefox has yet to implement.
We actually have an alcohol problem in Australia where many people are being assaulted on a weekly basis by drunks. Don't think that excessive alcohol usage is popular where I currently am among anyone older then 21.
Remember: "Better to let 10 guilty men go free than put one innocent in jail." If people remembered this founding principle the USA would be a better place.
Is it better to let 100 guilty men go free to keep 1 innocent man out? What about 1000? 10,000?
The problem is, no matter how large the burden of proof, someone will always be unjustly incarcerated.
I'm really saddened to see this habit of abandoning earlier consoles. As a kid I had backwards compatibility with my Mega Drive for my Master System. I had it with my GBA for my GB games. I had it with my PS2 for my PSX games. And I had it with my DS for my GBA and GB games.
If the companies keep abandoning their earlier consoles in future versions, they'll see a lot less tie-in (if I can't play my PS2 games in the PS3, I have less incentive to get a PS3 and can instead weigh the merits for the Xbox360 and PS3) and a lot more illegal emulation.
1) This would only be comparable if Allow/Deny happened at times when you're likely to be drunk. 2) Even a drunk person can hit Allow if given enough time.

but you're going to have kids one day and this is how you're going to do it, so you know the risk is real
I'm sterile you insensitive clod.
Sure it will. How many Klu Klax Klansmen does it take to hang a nigger? I bet most people here can't answer it.
Will the Archdiocese also make children sit through daily prayer?
I have also never done it. At least, if we assume that we're doing it merely for gossip and not because its part of my job to check e-mail.
While I may have got my country wrong, this is clearly a new thing

That's why he had to imagine it. If he had no possessions it would have been called "no possessions, so could you please spare a pound?"
Any post that mentions first post almost always gets modded off-topic. This one will probably get modded offtopic as well.

Some of us actually like to support the websites we visit by viewing their ads.
Got any examples of addons that replicate Firefox features?
I can't actually think of any such features, but apparently they exist.

I've never understood why Western society (and others) glorify the pissup.
Agreed. Then again many here glorify taking drugs.

And you'll prove that was why they denied you employment, how?
Well I won't pirate their music. But only cause it sucks.
Penrose conjectured that there must be some physical principle â" a 'cosmic censor' â" that forbids singularity nakedness...
God, is that you?
Clever.
aussie_a thought that the new controller would bring new, innovative games.
aussie_a waited until those games were actually created.
aussie_a is still waiting.
