Generally the stuff where the good guy can do evil things is not the kind that children at the impressionable age should be subjected to anyway. I don't think anyone ever argued that kindergarteners should play GTA (and I don't think they'd even want to) or watch Kill Bill or Saw. The kids that look for violent entertainment tend to be like 12-14 years old and do it as a combination of rebelling against their parents and doing something they think adults would do (at that age kids can't wait to be adults) but they'll grow out of it again as they get older. Does Sponge Bob or Bob the Builder ever rape, kill or steal without repercussions? If you're worried about impressionable children being taught violence you should look at parents teaching their children religion at a young age since those things do tend to contain a lot of bad things even if the parents don't emphasize them and there's no real question that religion has a strong tendency of affecting your behaviour when you grow up.
The DSi (next hardware revision) will already have a software download service. I'm not sure how many games it has since it seems to be aimed at productivity applications mostly but I think I did hear about some games.
From what I understand you're obligated to pay taxes in US dollars no matter what currency or property caused them so all talk about paying in virtual money is pointless (yes I know you're joking but it tends to be a standard response).
I think most of the item shop games only have a one-way system where you buy special items with your money that would be comparable to downloadable extra content for other games. Cashing out is usually not possible so the items shouldn't be taxed beyond the sales tax. Of course Second Life is different.
Actually the FF games are fairly conservative when it comes to hardware use (FF12 had less polygons than FF10 from what I read), they just use art direction and trickery to get the looks.
As for things like the FFT and FFCC series those are pretty much unrelated games using the same trademark since the core gameplay differs much more than the numbered FFs differ from each other (well, okay, 11 and 12 did change it a lot but they're still pretty much RPGs, FFT are SRPGs and FFCC are action games with a bit of stat growth and in one case even city management) so the lack of numbering is probably appropriate (some people argue that 11 shouldn't have been numbered).
So Final Fantasy actually had a "final" for someone? I figured it was just another case of non-English speakers deciding those words sound cool together and just throwing them together with urban legends arising later.
It's been announced that the game will be on the 360 as well. Probably not more interesting to you either, the impression I'm getting from the two HD consoles is that when you have a gaming-capable computer you can get pretty much everything they have for that.
The most common mods for Spring use fairly small unit ranges (5-10x the size of the unit itself in many cases) which means you can see the whole battle while the units are still fairly large in your view. People want to see the whole battle and what exactly is fighting it, hence the units have to be pretty large compared to the ranges. Of course it's not realistic, neither are many other things about RTSes (you don't need artillery to get awfully huge range/unit size ratios). It's up there with proper camo in the things that aren't very good for the actual playing part of the game.
Well, Yamauchi resigned some time ago. The new leadership was necessary to pull off the changes needed for the DS and Wii. Also most people consider Miyamoto their public faceinstead of Yamauchi and Miyamoto's public character (no idea how he's in private) is pretty humble and friendly.
Self defense is limited to physical assault and must be proportional to the threat, you can't just shoot someone dead without warning unless he is clearly a threat to your life (that means weapon drawn and prepared to kill you, not a drunk using his fists). Also boobytraps are illegal, you can't place a deadly trap in your home that would go off if a robber broke in.
If it was really caused by Halo he would have teabagged the victims afterwards.
I wonder if there is a Rapture defense?
Well, it would be funny if they labelled Wii Fit like that...
Nothing but defacing the box with even more stupid labels will make it look uglier and maybe people won't buy the game then.

You actually use all 50 carts? I've got enough room for 12 in my bag and rarely ever use more than 1-2 of them.

Advanced monitoring seems pointless, if there was an efficient way to track gold traders the game operators would use it to kick them off the server.
The same can be said about many others. That should not be a reason to ignore the regular business tax rules.
A loophole is when there is an error in the law that permits actions that were not intended to be possible. Are you against patching bugs too?
Additionally they're releasing the Motion Plus in the future that would allow accurate tracking of where the thing is pointed.

1. The joke has been tired for decades already
2. You need to learn how to read Roman numbers again.

It's CowboyNeal's brother?
Other games ask you if you want to play a male or female character, Final Fantasy just makes them unisex.
Something that isn't an FPS?

You don't, even console FPSes are abandoning single-system multiplayer by now.

There's a bit of a difference between damage through errors and willful damage. Mens rea.

I believe you need an introduction to the gaming industry then...
