I wouldn't really go to a hypermarket for videogames, home electronics stores and department stores tend to have much larger games sections and more stock of popular games while hypermarkets cannot allocate as much shelf space to each section. Occassionally I see piles of easily 100 units at those. Never had a case where such a store was sold out on day 1 (except maybe for games with really low shipment numbers but those aren't the kind Gamestop tries to make you preorder), even after that their stock rarely drops to 0 since they have huge piles (which comes back to haunt them when a game flops but hey, makes the price even lower so I won't complain!).
Oh and those stores tend to sell the games earlier than Gamestop. I've seen Media Markt sell a game on Wednesday when GS wouldn't sell it until Friday.
They could but why bother? The rover probably already did everything it was equipped for while the other bot wouldn't be much cheaper to make and could just be outfitted to do everything the Viking 1 could and more.
Just freaking vote, take a guess how many million think like that and do your thing, you may just be what's necessary to give them the courage to vote for the guy they want.
Wouldn't work. A nuclear launch is a diplomatic desaster, genocide is a diplomatic desaster and nuking your own people will leave your country crippled as the whole economy goes into the crapper, the rest of the population freaks out and starts attacking anything in sight and the armed forces might rebell against a leader like that. The govt could win but they would lose any ability to influence international politics as their military and industry lays in ruins, their population is starving and mad and their former allies are ready to kill them.
Actually that may be the best course of action. Terrorists don't have the means to cause much actual damage, they are doing attacks to get attention and to spread terror among the people they target. Ignoring them would defeat their main strength which is the feeling of insecurity and fear they create and leave them as random murderers. They don't possess the means to kill their enemies faster than those regrow (the US population grows fast enough that the 3000 dead in the WTC were "replaced" on pretty much the same day) and without any secondary effects to their attacks their "battle" is a sisyphean task.
I thought that's only 10.0? 10.1 just increases the minimum requirements to call hardware compliant, I don't think it means one damn thing for devs other than if they use 10.1 they'll have a guarantee that certain features are present and they'll have less potential buyers.
Of course 4xAA is hardly a difficult requirement, my GeForce 256 could already do 4xAA, although the performance wouldn't be very good of course. I read some don't support AA with some shaders, I wouldn't know since I prefer running at my desktop resolution (1280x960) which can get quite slow already without AA if you play a newer game,
Actually they're trying to revive it because if the PC lost its gaming function there'd be less reason not to go with a Mac or Linux system. They're in a pretty difficult situation right now because overly favouring one of their platforms will kill the other and they need both to keep both markets if they want control over gaming.
From what I see the biggest hurdle to keeping PC gaming strong is Intel's graphics division. While Intel chips may technically support all the features required in gaming specs their performance is abysmal and it's not uncommon to see people complain that a game won't run on their Intel chip, meanwhile computer vendors love Intel graphics because they're cheap and most people who didn't specifically have gaming in mind will just buy a cheap computer. For PC gaming to be a huge force the average computer must be able to play a game so any random PC owner can go "hey, that looks nice" and bring a game home instead of seeing that his computer won't run it (or not seeing it and bitching at sales staff later).
It's the only explanation for why he's trying to contradict climate change with "it's getting colder in some places" (well, the ignorance about the subject at hand, not the scientific method). I mean, no shit Sherlock, that's why the correct name isn't global warming!
If by "lazier" you mean "post more bullshit posts with even less foundation in reality", yes. FFS, those idiots claim the PS3 is selling 400k units every month when NPD doesn't even show a quarter of that!
If by Dragon Warrior you mean Dragon Quest I'll have to disappoint you, Dragon Quest 9 is a DS exclusive, all the PS3 might get is a spinoff like the Wii did.
Final Fantasy XIII is a ways off, but isn't it going to be like three separate games at once?
I think it's more than three but scattered across several platforms (including cellphones).
There is no freedom of speech in Gemany, only freedom of expression. You can express any idea you like (provided it does not serve to undermine the "democratic-liberal foundation" of the country which would be treason in most countries anyway) but you may be limited in how you can express it. Copying someone else's works is not any form of expression and copyright will not prevent you from sharing your own works if you want to do so. Citing other works may be important to put some weight behind your idea but science papers seem to manage referencing sometimes really expensive material without infringing on any copyright.
What does that have to do with privacy? Privacy means having information about you NOT shared or collected, you seem to think it includes sharing other people's information.
It supports the right of the child to a standardized education independent of what the parents may think. A kid that has fundie parents still has a right to hear about other beliefs, a kid with nazi parents still has the right to hear about the holocaust.
From what I can see there's a lot more Wiis in stores than 360 Cores. Not surprising since noone wants a Core and without demand stores won't stock them.
In Europe the 360 Premium was 300€ for a few weeks around the PS3 launch. Of course that meant you didn't get the extra controller and two games that most stores give you for free with one but since those games are usually launch games that are probably dirt cheap in the barghain bins and not everyone wants those games anyway that might still be a deal.
Because a report about a stolen car will usually come in some time after the car is stolen and keeping the data for, say, a week would be useful for that?

Solution? Form a religion that requires prayer to be in front of internet pornography.
Whoever is in power?
Hillary is the kind of candidate the dems should've locked in a basement and forgotten about.

I'm not advocating that we ignore the terrorists.

I'm not sure about that, most hijackers do release their passengers and many people would just hope they got that kind of hijacker.

If you find yourself making posts like that, it's time to investigate sarcasm.

An interesting question could a 10 year old (or someone who is not capable of entering into a legally binding contract) be held by eBay's rules?
EBay requires the user to be at least 18 years old unless they changed that since I signed up.
but Sony also has [..] Dragon Warrior

I don't get your logic. What does the PS2's userbase have to do with the PS3? I have a PS2, why does that make me likely to buy a PS3?

Considering those 2.50$ only apply to the XBox 360 that shouldn't be such a big problem.
