It's already implied in the reckless driving rules but having it spelled out probably makes it easier to handle in court because the lawyer can't argue that whatever the bastard did wasn't reckless.
Or we could just build iron rails and vehicles that drive on them. Perhaps offer them as a form of carpooling. Hey, since it's so simple we could use fewer engines and attach a few cars to each other and form really long... whaddaya call it... trains!
I can think of the top three (or two and a half because NG isn't exclusive) as well but what else is there? MGS and FF are good but they alone won't keep a system afloat. Also keep in mind that neither the companies nor the teams behind these games are exclusive to the PS3. Their standing is weaker than it was with the PS2, they've lost big hitters like GTA (multiplatform) and Dragon Quest (DS exclusive). Being the Rolls-Royce of the games industry would make the PS3 the equivalent of the Neo Geo, sure, it's powerful but noone can afford it.
The backwards compatibility of the PS3 is getting worse rather than better, the next PS3 revision will use software emulation like the 360 and so far test results aren't pretty.
Globalization as promoted by the US means the US will remain as protectionist of their market as they want while others have to abolish all protections to let US business in.
And hell, it's not like the govt can't be allowed to vote with its wallet when it comes to making contracts. Outlawing or hindering imports is one thing, just not giving contracts to foreign companies is another.
Giving Americans preferential treatment against cost and performance implies that we somehow deserve jobs more then the rest of the world, can you give me any reason why this is so?
Because boosting the national economy is beneficial to the country and the government's highest goal is the benefit of the country?
I don't know how they work, but they must all be like stepper motors, slaved together.
It's probably an RF solution, like those RF clocks you can buy everywhere that sync to a time signal broadcasted by someone who has a caesium clock (usually some university labs or other government broadcaster). Occassionally you can see them resync which involves keeping the second hand in the 0 position until the other clocks reach the 0 position with their second hand.
Socialists want to divide the pie equally, Liberals just put the pie there and tell everyone to grab what they can.
Liberals want to remove government control as much as possible and give all the power to the market. This necessarily means that money equals power, even moreso than it does in a country with a strong government. Removing the biggest power from the picture leads to other powers rising to fill the void. In effect that means they replace the government with an oligarchy of huge corporations.
The Germans seem to be able to drive at 100 mph without killing themselves more frequently than US or Canadian drivers.
From what I heard about US driving tests the reason for that is simply the much stricter procedure for getting a license in Germany. I think stricter traffic laws help, too.
Mandatory bicycle helmets? It's my head, thank you; if I want to expose it to injury, that should be my choice, not yours.
The problem is that if you get in an accident that is ruled to not be your fault (unless you want a rule whereby lack of helmets or seat belts automatically puts you at fault) those additional injuries have to be paid for by the other party in the accident. Since head injuries, if not fatal are nearly always crippling that's a huge financial burden on the other party (we're talking about paying for all medical treatments arising from the damage until the day you die).
That's nice and all but people don't want package deals that cost so much. Most will buy it for the games and there's no 300€ gamesd only version, you HAVE to pay 600€ to get that game functionality and you'll get the rest whether you want it or not. Sure, if you'll ask the average consumer he'll say yes, he'd like those features but when you tell him the price he won't like it. The consumer wants a Ferrari for the price of a Honda but given the choice he'd rather buy a Honda for the price of a Honda than a Ferrari for the price of a Ferrari.
The nice thing about RPGs is you can play a little bit, accomplish something in the game, and then turn it off.
The problem with that is that most console RPGs use savepoints as your only way to save and those points tend to be half an hour or more apart once the game gets going (some games go up to two hours between savepoints in later dungeons). Just playing for a few minutes won't let you progress because you can't save.
That's why we need to arm pedestrians with rocket launchers!

Yes but it's easier when you can't argue that texting isn't reckless.

And forget the "but they wouldn't steal a Ferrari", that's a different argument.
If it was as easy to do and get away with as warezing you'd probably see loads of people stealing Ferraris.
That's how it'd work in a sane system but we're talking about the legal system of the United States of America.
I seem to recall stories about PS3s being returned, although that was usually just because it failed to sell for enough on Ebay.

Do you mean render at 720p or just upscale? Rendering at a higher resolution eats more resources and might make a game slow down.

Sorting through hundreds or thousands of layers in GIMP isn't much fun, either.
Going by that list I'd have an easier time just making the character I want in Blender and rendering the necessary frames.

Only if you have only one year.
Don't confuse the 64 bit PC CPUs ("x64") with the Itanium (IA64).
Oh, shit, I didn't see the fnord at first, only after reading the second line I read the first again and saw the fnord!

Reasonably priced videogames.
Liberals are NOT left-wing. Left wing is socialism, in its extreme communism. Liberalism is centrist/moderate right.
Socialists want to divide the pie equally, Liberals just put the pie there and tell everyone to grab what they can.

It reads more like you were flaming them.
