Sure there are some investigative journalists around, but most are at most editors of news feeds. And by editing I mean changing the order of the words a bit, not even the editing that Wikileaks does.

And I do not care what Assange is. He could be a terrorist child molester for all I care.

It might very well be that the law is not respected, but then you must also look if the law is good. Unfortunately going the legal way to change the law also does not work anymore.

Remember that the USofA was not made because everybody was following the law. (Nor any other country)

Strange, because here in Belgium, anybody can join a union. There probably is a minimum age, but the job is irrelevant. Even better: you do not even NEED a job to join a union. And you can select from several.

This means that if they make a picket line, they have a lot more pressure.
They might start with just a few people in one company. Then the whole company or all of the same profession or even the whole country.

The main disadvantage I see is that _elected_ union people are over protected and that draws people who are in it for the over-protection and not for their cow orkers. Meaning many are lazy but can't be fired. For all the others there is no difference between union and non-union. Same pay. Same amount of holidays. Same whatever.

I hate these kind of studies as they are extremely one sided. Used to work for a company that did not allow surfing, so instead people where reading a newspaper. No problem, because it was not easily measurable by looking at a log.

People are not 100% productive. Get over it and start figuring out to praise them by what they do, not punish them by what they don't. Every dogs and raising-kids tv show can tell you that. Management by fear only works for a short period of time.

    Good versus Evil. Great storytelling.

But what if the Evil guy had won and then says He is the good guy? If I were the evil guy, I certainly would mess with peoples head and say that I was good, although I was evil. Say to two different persons that I am their only God and kill the other one and see who wins. Just because I can.
Let people die and the few who live must thank me for my mercy.

All the while the Devil who tries to come back, I will tell the worst stories about. And all the the Devil want to do is you to have fun.

Or is this just a matter that absolute power corrupts absolutely?

Anyway. Nice and entertaining stories. Lots of violence and sex, so great to turn into movies.

An Atheist knows it will end that persons life for now and forever and will thus be much more careful with ending one.
