nah i say fingerprint, probe and take dna of all americans ;) can't be trusted. or we just have a universal system managed under the UN (oh wait even that isn't safe, hmm what about the US? hmm nah china! at least they can spam you with chinese material and convince you that they are good!)

i love my windows system, when i use windows+e to open up exploror windows which i then use as internet explorer when i get to a few windows later instead of ctrl+n to pop a new ie open i still use windows+e and then explorer crashes! thats not the coolest thing yet! as exploror consumes 99% cpu resources i have to force it to quit, then the desktop just, well you know does its usual disapearing act, then even better to get it back i execute the command in windows task manager > file > run > desktop and enter, which then returns me a button with jibberish which says somthing about failing to load..blah blah. more ms crap, then my system gets a kick and the desktop returns! sweet isn't it! you can keep your puter kicking over for a long time like that, only if it runs windows! thats why i have no problem with piracy.

design illiteracy is a problem. but we do have to think about the other guys, look even the standards don't work with internet explorer and where internet explorer remains the most used browser we have to support it. screw svg! and css doesn't allow for everything to be scaled!

designers prefer to control what you see and not let what you use control what you see!

its not all about the money but of the experiance, somtimes its good to get out of a country you were born and raised, think of it as a cultural experiance, as long as your smart and keep safe (like not going to american bars) then you'll do fine, but you do have to look into what you'll be provided in terms of safety/housing/security/contingency. if the company is putting together a good package then it could be worth it. i don't live in a dangerous place but i would go just for a change of life. but don't go thinking it'll all be 'sweet' n stuff cause you will be put under stress/difficault positions. i live in china, not the most chalenging of places but if i didn't move here from the uk i'd probably not have ever left the uk! it'll be an experiance! and don't believe everything you see on CNN! their in the business to make money, and violance sells! (so does sex, human hardships and google) try it, if you are uncomfortable you can always come back! remmeber to read that contact good 'n' stuff!

The limit for a bsd label is 2^32-1 sectors (unless geom has broken it).
With the normal sector size of 512 bytes, this gives a limit of 2TB less
512 bytes. With a larger sector size, the limit is larger. A sector
size of 2048 is quite reasonable, since this is the default fragment size
for ffs. This gives a limit of 8TB less 2048 bytes.

The main 1TB limits are that RELENG_4 doesn't support disk addresses
larger than 1TB, and ffs1 is broken for disk addresses larger than 1TB
(disk addresses 31 bytes in units of fragments internally in ffs, so the
limit with the default fragment size of 2048 is 4TB less 2048 bytes, but
things break at 1TB due to bogus parentheses in the conversion from ffs
    addresses to disk addresses).

they done this so their local compaines can catch up and they done it to get around the patents, but ask yourself this, where did they get the original concept from? isn't this a true breach of interlectual property?

i might live here but i don't like what they are doing, i want choice in what product i buy! sorry but somone needs to exploit their system like the linux people do to m$.. exspecially when they say current wifi standards are not secure!

Also look at their current choice over imported movies, as they will be banning those for a 3 month period to clear the cinemas of sexy footage and violance, protect the kids they say.. more like brain wash them. but then again you can get it on the streets just as fast. also look at the ban on imported games, to take violance out of the market, what the hell is this? a good game start with realistic guns, lots of blood and mass killing, looks like harry pothead won't make it this year, nore lard of the dings.. oh well these can also be picked up on the streets. i know of 5 dvd shops and 3 games shops in a 10 minute radius from where i live. hmm government ban just means these shops sell more.
