    You got the Windows wrong actually.

    Its more like this:
    Double click install.exe and then hit 'Next' 20 times.

    Middle click paste is a godsend fyi. It gives the middle mouse button a purpose.

    Then the user would have to be responsible for any damages.

    I'm a Aussie where identification for stuff like bank accounts is usually your passport and drivers licence. :)

    Yeah but I cant use GMail. I have 2.5 gig of email. :(

    My current email limit is half a terrabyte or a full terrabyte if I delete some stuff.
    Excellent spam protection and I can read it where ever I want when ever I want.

    Yep.Postfix, Courier and SpamAssassin (with a few tweaks) with IMAP rocks.

    Ever watched your ssh logs? People try brute forcing it (without much luck).
    It must be worth something to them.

    lol. I know from experience that a lot of dedi owners are as clueless as Windows users.

    My main client is a web master who has two quad Xeons.
    The most he can do is copy files in ssh.

    Unfortunately its disproven very simply.

    Yes thats right. Multi-processor beasts on massive net connections.

    If it was possible to make a Linux virus which would successfully spread in the wild then we would have *very* serious spam and botnet problems.
    There is far more money in spam than malware.

    Windows has far more serious problems than little bugs which do very little.

    # Number of sites: More than 10
    # Geographical distribution: Medium
    # Threat containment: Easy
    # Removal: Easy

    I have it installed. I was intending to make it scan the Windows machines on the network.

    Unfortunately my laziness got in the way. The Windows machines as a result are currently filled with crap.
